my Husband and I took in the Son of a friend 5 years ago. he was having problems. we were all very close-still are. my Husband passed away 10-24-09 from infection. it broke all of our hearts-our kids were 9 and 11 the boy was 19. it hit him Very hard. he can't listen to this entire song anymore because he replaces Daddy with Jason and it makes him cry because he misses Jason so much. THANK YOU ALAN JACKSON FOR SUCH A GREAT SONG. I can't wait to hear it live at the Delaware state fair this summer

learned to drive in 1967 ford F 250 in the summer of 1983. dad bought bought the truck from a friend the previous spring and paid $1500.00. great truck!!! suspension was so stiff it beat your brains out. dad turned me loose in a 30 acre hayfield and watched from the fence as i clumsily cruised around the field. i could not even see above the dashboard. dad passed away in 2007. miss you dad.

In 77 my dad bought a new black ford pick-up. I learnt to drive in that truck. He passed away in the fall, we found him in the ford in the driveway after the heart attack got him. Im 24 and I played this song for him last summer and he told me he loved me for the first time. He wasnt the kind of guy to say that even though i know he felt it. Thanks Mr. Jackson I think it meant a lot to the both of us. I`ll never sell that truck and hopefully one day I`ll have kids of my own to teach how to drive
