The trick is, I made sure Asch was in the air when I did it. Watch it again carefully and you'll see that. That's why Light Spear Cannon is a popular arte to use to lead into a MA.

I lol'd when I saw you do that Devil's Inferno, because I knew a very painful Rending Saber was on its merry way XD
Hopefully I'll get my capture card by the weekend and see if I make it to this point of the game myself. Cool stuff though mylady ;)

actually, I pulled that off just fine once, usually it puts him in the air, just had no luck this particular time

Yeah, you were unlucky that he guarded against it, so since he wasn't staggering in the air you couldn't avoid the counter.
