To all the people wandering where to find these songs. Go to your local electronics/music store and buy Hayes Carll's "KMAG YOYO(And Other American Stories). While you're there, pick up "Trouble In Mind". Then when you get home order "Little Rock" and "Flowers and Liquor" off the internet because you won't find them at Best Buy. Not only do you support the guy who wrote the songs for this character, but he sings them better as well. Thanks.

@charfaus Sorry, can't agree with you on that one. I'm not denying that this guy sounds pretty good doing it, but at the same time it isn't a different "version" it's the same song with the same music, completely unchanged except for another guy is singing them. My only problem with Garret Hedlund is that he seems to be trying too hard, that and the fact that you can tell that the song doesn't mean anything to him personally, Hayes sings it as what it is, a very personal song.

@charfaus I've known Hayes' music for ten years now and there is a reason that the producers of this movie chose him to be the "musical inspiration" for this character, he's considered by a large amount of people to be one of the greatest singer songwriters in this particular genre today. The only thing that bothers me about this is that without this movie none of the people posting on here would care about this song or any of the others. most are blinded by their affection for Garrett Hedlund

@tcgize uhhhh...no. This song is a Hayes Carll song, as were a couple of the other songs that this character sang in the movie. Hayes is a great singer/songwriter and this was a song he had written for his wife.

There's actually one scene in the movie in a hotel or something when Tim McGraw's character is getting ready and a Hayes Carll song is playing in the background, "Take Me Away". I thought that was cool of the people involved in the film to do.
