  • If you think there's such a thing as a British accent, you must think Billy Connolly and Prince Charles share the same accent.

  • it sounds so weird for british people to do an american accent if ur american:p im just used to americans doing british accents:p

  • "I can do a good impression of a British Accent" - My first thought was that there are more than one so this is impossible. But then again she did say "a" British accent, not "the" British accent.

  • Fuck americans man, I'm english not British, you Canadian mugs

  • I LOVE APPLE CRUMBLE!! :D

  • There's no such thing as a British accent. English, Scottish, etc., not British/

  • According to the description I strongly believe it's the whole world that's watching you as long as you're posting on youtube and speaking English...

  • @ZosiaSamosiaOo Hmm, you may have unintentionally just made a huge mistake in being ignorant enough as to assume that the whole world speaks english. Well done.

  • @L3w157 If you were bright enough you'd have understood I meant English is becoming a global language as more and more people learn it nowadays. Or you did but you were catty enough to point out the 'huge mistake' I made - for no reason.

  • 1:01 - she sounded Australian there! LOL

  • My idols with my worst enemy-- sweet.

  • @bookl0ver i said a geordie accent

  • @aladar750 i no i was pointing out other accents yanks should try, but geordie is hard 4 any1 who's not a geordie

  • @bookl0ver yh i guess you just have to say like and na what i mean and when you start talking you sound hard as nails then by the end you sound like a nail could have you in fight

  • @aladar750 ya no ur like right. actually i've no idea wat ur on about lol

  • @bookl0ver me neither i just sorta typed words and hoped they make sense

  • @aladar750 aye lad (or lass) we all do that but the yanks can't do no scottish accent

  • @bookl0ver lad and mel gibson in brave heart

  • Not once in the whole interview did the girl with brown hair say "ello". Fucking American bimbo

  • REGIONAL ACCENTS!!!!!! YOU CAN FIND THEM EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!

  • Britain is made up of several countries and each have their own accents. You cannot have all the accents in one therefore you cant have a British accent.

  • @CopperCabIsGay111 Even more complicated than that, we have divergent accents between towns right next to each other even!

  • @CopperCabIsGay111 There is a British accent that's called 'official' as it's REGIONLESS - and this is the famous standard London/BBC/Queen's English's accent.

  • @ZosiaSamosiaOo You mean 'Queens English'? Nobody speaks it, except an old German lady called Liz who lives in London.

  • Now try a Scottish accent...

  • the american accent was akward. the british accents though were pretty decent.

  • Ms Flack is a borderline peado

  • oh caroline flack. she said she doesnt prefer british boys and she goes for Harry Styles whos 17 and british. oh amazing.

  • @crazycows01 And not to mention that he looks like a faggot. Young English men need to man up. I never trust any man who can wear skinny jeans comfortably, even normal jeans are too tight around my mannage.

  • @RobertBeowulf English men need to man up? Wow you have no clue at all...

  • @jayc342009 I have every clue, I live among loads of them. Even the hard ones lack the essential qualities of men, i.e being polite, honourable and respectful to women.

  • @RobertBeowulf Okay i see you point there, i agree.

  • Jesus Christ... they were trying to do a British accent? Seriously? I couldn't tell any difference from their regular retard-speak.

  • i fucking hate it when americans try to do our accent, we're lucky we have sexy accents because american is just down right annoying

  • @raverbaby011 I can't imagine you think an English person attempting an American accent sounds any better to us? No. You all sound like drunk hillbillies with a bit of that one kid's voice thrown in... From that show? Steve Urkel, I think his name was.

  • haha they're rubbish at doing English accents! The first just sounds american and the second sounds australian...

  • caroline looks way better with lighter hair

  • That was shit.

  • so I am sweet charming

  • @MissTeeRee no lol im from uk and it actually mean bloody saying bloody hell in england is swearing. :) example: this a bloody nightmare.. that would be sweaing if u put ur middle finger up the means f word

  • @MissTeeRee Why?

  • @MissTeeRee Don't tell them that, that kind of comedy is priceless!

  • I would love to escort those two stupid blondes to the Gas Chamber, just for being so fake and yet dumb. Don't worry, sweety, you are only taking a shower, here's your towel. Gas Them.

  • @TheRegimelife

    your fucking stupid

  • shut up sluts and just swallow

  • @thenfm lmao, you tell 'em

  • Americans just cannot do a London accent. That is the area of England they always attempt to try and it doesn't work. However, Angelina Jolie isn't bad at it.

  • Kinda fail brithish accents but the American accent was good

  • what's TMI?

  • ı couldnt get the difference

  • Those were some pretty horrid attempts.

  • Sorry about the copies, must be a pc glitch.

  • The Brit shits, like yank septics. I think the Brittish accent is sooooo annoying! Like Keira Knightleys. The cockey accent is funny, so thats OK. But people like unattractive Simon Cowell only get attention in America cause they like his phoney accent, when he's such a BORE!

  • Do these idiots even know the difference between Britain and England?

  • @jimbopumbapigsticks apparently not

  • WTF is a brittish accent? That must be welsh, irish, scottish and english combined then? :L

  • Ur a fresh 1

  • Caroline Flack has that "something", it's kind of like sex appeal but also you wanna be her mate

  • Who the hell r these ppl?

  • @Android18uk Lurk moar!

  • @Nameless666Maggot Never heard of them. And hopefully never will again.

  • @Android18uk lol I my self don't know who they are. D:

  • @Android18uk

Lol they're Aly and AJ, American singers and actresses.

  • I love Caroline.

  • The interviewer did their accent better than they did the british.

  • Its called English accent, not british

  • @sZeRo0Xx I am from britian and they are the same thing

  • @coolimes101 No they're not, there is so such thing as a British accent. Do some research!

  • @sZeRo0Xx Its called "Brit Shits" like yank and septics...

  • Respond to this video...I think the Brittish accent is sooooo annoying, especially Keira Knightleys. I like cockney cause its funny. But Brits, like Simon Cowell make me want to puke, he's so unattrative, but people who like Brit accents will like him just for that reason and he's a BORE!

  • @sZeRo0Xx actually it is called british these days since so many other countries use english as their primary language. i.e. Austalian accents, American accents

  • @drifter01z No, our accent is an English accent, just like a Scottish accent or a Welsh accent. You don't consider Scottish accents or Welsh accents to be "British" don't you ? "British" is wrong. Accents from England are English accents......

  • @SpaceMarineUltra No, it's called Brittish and I'll explain why. You are from Great Britain, there for the way you speak is called British. The differring in sounds deal with regional dialects. Dialects are different from accents. You speak with a scottish dialect. People have been getting it wrong for years.

  • @drifter01z Have you ever commented on a Scotsman British accent ever? I imagine you haven't. That's because Americans think British = English, when it does not. Canadians are from North America. Would you consider them to have American accents? Great Britain is the name given the the terrain, not the country. The full name of the UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. England is not a region, it is a nation, with its own accent, as does Scotland and Wales.

  • Dialects are within each nation, e.g England has scouse, geordie and cockney dialects to name a few, but they are all English accents. There is no such thing as a British accent.

  • @DisgruntledBrit British just encompasses the whole country, you all use the same language, English, with different tweeks and turns to make each regional dialect distinct from the others. Don't get me wrong I love the British, be they Scottish, Welsh, or what ever. Much the same way here in the US where we have the southern dialect and west coast. Actually to put it even more into perspective there is a difference in almost every state here.

  • @drifter01z You're entirely wrong. Great Britain is an island of separate nations, each nation with their own accent. There are various dialects WITHIN each nation but each nation's ACCENTS are separate.

  • @LisaJJMerry What he's saying is that it's the same as generalizing an American accent. No American accent is going to be right for every state, just like no British accent is going to be right for the entire island.

  • @mgnkriss But states aren't nations. Britain is made up of NATIONS not just states.

  • @MissTeeRee Yes, but the difference isn't in the name, it's in the cultures.

  • Comment removed

  • @sZeRo0Xx so now im not even speaking an accent?

  • @sZeRo0Xx Perhaps it's ONE of the English accents. Just as there are more than one Scottish accent. So they were technically doing one of the British accents.

  • @sZeRo0Xx really :s

  • there are loads of british accents

  • @donoghue1987 THANK YOU.

  • I'm from Britian I don't think I've got an accent.

  • those girls are hot

  • Second accent sucked

  • caroline is the fittest girl in the world.

  • @SallieAltie @fwright88 One more thought is that it could be argued that various English accents could be considered native accents of the language. Whereas American accents are non-traditional, or foreign accents. This might be resolved by recognizing American English as a distinct language to which American accents are native or traditional. I'm not trying to be obnoxious with these posts. Just registering my (rambling) opinion.

  • @SallieAltie @fwright88 That should have begun "I'm an", not "I'm an". Sorry about that. The native languages include English, Welsh, various forms of Gaelic and Scots, as well as minor languages which are distinct from those previously mentioned, and which do not belong to any of the four listed countries. For instance, Cornish is spoken by a small number of people in Cornwall. These are all native languages and have various degrees of official status in different regions.

  • @SallieAltie I'm en English expat living in Connecticut. I've been here for over ten years. While both Britain and America have many regional accents, all the accents in America belong to one country, the United States of America. Britain traditionally refers to the Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. And therefore the accents in Britain belong to four distinct countries within the empire: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The countries also have distinct native languages

  • They sounded more transatlantic than English. As an American, I'll say the English lady NAILED our accent, perfect!

  • @lamareikan666 We dont have an accent :P

  • @AngelsOfSilence6

Really? I'm glad!! Where are you from? Are you from England?

  • Aly is better ;)

  • we stereotype all americans too be fat, they stereotype us all too have terrible teeth. but the worse thing is for them too think we all have the same accent, all ''posh'' i can put this too you now, i'm from Bristol, i sound like a farmer, i understand americans have different accents too, but not many people try and do it.

  • @l0lalaina

mancs, geordies, bristolians, londoners the list could go on.

  • @xiCRANEYJxi too many too even name!

  • They sounded exactly the same!!

  • nobody here says allo- we say hey, hi, ay up, alright, but never allo, and we really only say hello on the telephone to somebody we dont know- not only is it pronounced wrong, and yes a t.v presenter says hello but not allo

  • @MrStudioManic I say allo, its fun!

  • I wanna see a English guy trying to do a country accent.. :D

  • god

  • Those were some of the worst british accents ever, including the actual British woman.

  • what's wrong with all the british? why its so hard for you to accept those great impressions, not only within this video, All Other YOUTUBE. pleas stop deny that.

  • That sounds australian....

  • british is much better than american !

  • @bluehoney6 Hi... I'm from Spain and I think it too =)

  • @bluehoney6 yeah whatever.....

  • aj , sounds like a smoker.

  • NOT BRITISH ! London original

  • There is no one British accent though. There is not even one English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish accent. You can sound like you are in a different country just by travelling a hundred miles in the UK. I've always thought the American accent sounds really irritating. Apart from Marilyn Manson's accent. And maybe Jay Leno. But apart from that ...

  • @1990MattyD When most Americans think British accent they think Harry Potter. that's one of the only British movies they play on TV here. The other one I can think of is Goal. They were in Newcastle I think.

  • @theoneyouwanttobe2 - Well that kind of sucks. What about "The Office" or things like that? I mean, the people that you guys should be thinking of when you think of Britain is Al Murray, Ricky Gervais, and other awesome people like that. Harry Potter gives completely the wrong impression of the UK unfortunatly.

  • @1990MattyD American Movies give the wrong Impression of us too. I'll admit I have a stereotypical American accent from the Midwest, but we all don't sound like that. I moved one state over and a little further south and everyone sounds like a southerner to me.then there is that annoying California thing that just really bothers me. But I've never seen The Office. My favorite TV British accent is the Irish one.

  • @theoneyouwanttobe2 - Yeah, we have the same thing among upper classes in the South of England, very stereotypical accent. I'm not familiar with all American accents really, although I believe I could distinguish a few of them. The Office is a Ricky Gervais show. We have the usual and obvious American shows, Friends and such, but I don't think some of our comedies are particuarly liked by most American - or extreme of American audiences. Just the way it is I suppose :L

  • @1990MattyD Well I can't tell the difference in a Canadian (English not French) and an American accent if I tried. I don' t think I've ever seen a fully British show. They have English actors on some American ones, and maybe occasionally an Irish or Scottish person.

  • That's was a horrible accent. We sound nothing like that. But other chick's American was decent I suppose..

  • Hmm, you would have thought that actresses would have better British accents?

  • Sound more like a male version of amy winehouse

  • This is a failed attempt at an English accent, not a British one. There is no such thing as a British accent as Britian is made up of four countries England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Add them all together and invent a British accent if you want.

  • Ok, is everyone a retard now? How many of you have said 'there's bo such thing as an accent there are lots of them'? Yeah, contradiction much, fucktards?

  • theres no such thin as an "accent" there are 50 (count them ) 50 different states! and every one has a different accent...hell there are even different accents in different cities, so no, an american accent is not the easiest because yoh cant imitate them all at once...

  • "Very concentrative".

  • hey i have english cock with american pennis would u like to try it. Bitch get the fuck out of my face !

  • bitch we dont like that , only the posh muh fukas out of london speak like that .

  • Lol, they fail at correct names. It's not a British accent, stupids, it would be a London, England accent stereotype if anything. Not the preppy stereotype that hopefully most people know is completely false, but you know what I mean.

  • @Phoenix1664 For your information im not french I'm English.....

  • Americans always sound like cockneys when they do a British accent.

  • i love british accent

  • Everyone keeps saying the Americans are stupid for saying there's a 'British Accent.' Why do people keep calling our accent American then? We're made of 50 states and not all of them have the same accent! lol just wanted to make a point. Sorry. :DD

  • @SallieAltie lol yeah! People call it American, but there are southern accents, new york accents and such...and if not British accents, then what? London accent? Psh...Hell NO.

  • @SeaOfWisdom18 Don't forget most Americans can't even imitate all of the different ones. I can do a southern one(half my family is southern the other half is from the Midwest) one but New York or New Jersey, forget it.

  • @SallieAltie I see your point, but the reason is most probably because we have a much wider range of accents. Some Americans and Canadians can just about tell their accents apart, let alone people from other countries trying to tell the difference between accents of neighbouring states.

  • @SebbeSucksBawlz Definitely nice argument. Great to see it from your point of view, and I totally understand. I, unfortunanately, am very bad at telling an Scottish accent from...a Welsh accent, perse. I know there's a difference when I hear it, I just can't stamp a name to it. :)

  • @SallieAltie I think it's hard for most non-Brits or Irish people to tell them apart. Even my Swedish friend couldn't/can't tell them apart properly. To me - and probably most other Brits - that sounds pretty weird, but I understand that obviously we're used to hearing them a lot more. Probably in the same way that Canadians don't like Brits thinking they're American because to most of us it's not something we hear a lot lol.

  • @SallieAltie There are several accents within Britain too

  • @InferiorPotassium93 Yup, I know. And I wish a lot of others knew that too, but I just wanted to point out there really isn't an American accent either. Too broad and vague. I do hate when people say British Accent though. No such thing.

  • @SallieAltie Because America is one country. Britain isn't even a country. That's like us saying Canadians have an American accent because Canada is in North America.

  • @tommyddoolin Yeah, very true. :))

  • @SallieAltie Well to Non Americans they are all pretty similar except from a hill billy accent. Britain has 4 different countries including Northern Ireland and we might say that a scottish person had an edinburgh accent like my sis but mostly its just the countries we name cos britan is muuuuch weeee-er than America. A British accent would be crazy

  • usa-Land population per sq km : 32.3- britain Land population per sq km : 250.2 (not including scotland) we make up for it- even if your country is much bigger and more people we try! lol but however if you were to come to england theres 50 different counties all with different accents. thats not including ireland or scotland. if you watching to much british t.v they all speak quite posh and quite often we take the micky out of our own stereotypes- but try some real english people on youtube.

  • @MrStudioManic I'm an Edinburger! Scotland is even smaller than England{and the weathers a lot worse]. I know there are lots of different accents in England/scotland/wales/north ireland but they are all types of english welsh etc.

  • @MrStudioManic I also loooove England and would like to live there but I do like a posh Edinburgh accent. Theyre quite english

  • @SallieAltie England doesn't have one accent either, you ignorant dumbfuck fat virgin loser faggot.

  • @SirSexyAlot I already know this. I was just pointing out that Americans don't have just ONE accent either. And what's wrong with being a virgin? lol

  • @SallieAltie Ignore the rude ones. They tend to be more ignorant anyway :D

  • @GuyWithLyre lol, thanks but I don't really mind. They're just trying to prove their point like I did. Nothing wrong with it.

  • @SirSexyAlot Please don't accuse the other person of being ignorant as you call them a faggot.

  • @SirSexyAlot *sarcasm* Yes, because you sound oh, so intelligent... Most educated people know England (as well as Britain in general) do not have one accent. America may be one country, unlike Britain, but it's a large one nonetheless. This whole argument is getting a little too personal...

  • @GuyWithLyre Haha, you're so fucking stupid, you responded to the wrong person, hahahahaha.

  • @SallieAltie Because you're a country? England Ireland Scotland and Wales are all seperate countries.

  • @SquaresCircles and Northern Ireland

  • @lewisisation Whoops, I meant Northern Ireland not Ireland :]

  • @SquaresCircles Yeah, very true. I'm sorry if I came off...really rude. I was trying to prove a point not get people riled up about it. Haha, but yeah, I know that they're all seperate countries. I just visited Wales this summer and I had a great time!

  • @SallieAltie Granted. But Britain is made up of different countries entirely.

  • @aspinall2k8 Yup! Also granted. I do see how it can get irritating being stamped a certain accent or dialect and it's much more...vague then given.

  • you have got manly accent..:_P
