jay leno's brilliance only came from exploiting the stupid, i.e. for headlines and jaywalking. true, at times, it was amusing--but it didn't require any creativity or imagination on his part. in the olden days, leno was just my 'opening act' before i really hunkered down to watch da man, conan! :) often i'd shower,brush my teeth,& feed the cat,during leno,to be free for conan.i say this a lot, because it is the truth.returning jay would have people needing to change their cat feeding sched.
