AND YES IM SORRY FOR ALL THE MISTAKES MY WONDERFULL KIDS BUT I WILL MAKED UP FOR ALL THOSE MISTAKES I MADE AND FOR MY WRONG DECISIONS MOMMY LOVE YOU GUYS.
i'm sorry i wasn't there when you died baby but i was there to bury you and see you for the last time i wish i was by your side when you took the last breathe but i wasn't i want the hold world to no i'm sorry and miss you everyday of this life that has no meaning either because your not around anymore to dokey/de/calecia/13 tu wife de blythe/town/baddgirl your resting baby i wish i was buy yourside i'm sorry
Again I ask, why can't they make real soul music like this today, with great songs, great singers and great drummers; instead of that whiny crap that's being marketed as "R&B" today, with no tunes, subpar vocalists and that obnoxiously innocuous artificial handclap!? Again, Thom Bell, where are you now that we need you!?
When I listen to these songs from the 70's like this one and others from the Delphonics, The Sylistics, Blue Magic and others, I think to myself, "Who were the women who inspired these lyrics and these songs?" Oh my lord, it's unreal! It takes a lot to make a man take to pen and paper in this way. These chicks were definitely off the scale.
It was actually magnetic bleed through.. Q-042 was recorded on a recycled cassette, like many of the Peoples Temple recordings. "I'm Sorry" was previously recorded at a higher speed on the cassette before being recorded over at a lower IPS by the Q-042 recordings.
@trevanismith Apparently, During the final speech made by Jim Jones just before the incident he was playing a slowed down version of this song. Hope that helps
hate to tell you this but this song was recorded on a tape by Rev. Jim Jones, but the SAME Jim Jones is not the RAPPER, but the 1970's Peoples Temple leader, who soon took his flock to Gyuana, Africa, founded JONESTOWN, and over 900 people comitted mass suicide on November 18, 1978, and the whole mass suicide was recorded on a tape which had bad heads, and a ghost recording of this song can be heard at the 'end' of the tape at a very slow speed! Serious about this!!!
I was actually looking for this on you tube for that reason. To listen to the regular version and see what I could pick up from the tape recording.
I guess this could sound very sad and almost morbid when slowed down. Almost like funeral precession music. Which is fitting in some way for what that tape was about and the event that was recorded over it.
well...here is something. This has been said that there was music playing during the suicide. there was a lot of technical difficulties on the recording, but after jim jones makes his last statement, he moans 2 times. in the second moan you can hear the machine being shut off...the rest of the tape is what was on the tape originally at a slow speed, but the other ones who analyze the tape miss this for years and years and years and...
I miss you Sara and I'm sorry :(
