Nice video, amazing waves, sometimes you can get a freak wave and it can easily overshoot the pebblle beach and wash over the Marine Parade.

I was in Napier over the weekend and enjoyed it, especially the hot pools.

I live in hastings- its not by the sea. So we come 2 napier alot but i have never seen it this bad.

Hey with your name I can't resist asking you, where do you think the most wild & wooly beatuiful raw land is in the country to start a biodynamic, food forest, super adobe, green health & healing spa w recording studio? Thats a dangourous beach to begin with. Im from Hastings. A few people have been killed over there. Had a closey my self once. In Aus now. Missing home. Hows the bay????

I live just south of Christchurch, New Zealand. The weather is so bad here. I've never seen anything like it. Half of our livestock drowned already in the flash-floods

Well your welcome there, Miss Multiple viewer lol....Definately no plunging in this surf, closest i got was 20m to water line and even that was probably dangerous. This beach is known for rogue waves out of nowhere and sadly several people have died in recent years due to being swept out by rogue waves. Keep an eye on whats coming at all times, respec the oceans power.
