Sorry,but I have no time to do a tutorial right now,but I'll tell you that Shrek is made in 3DMAX using editmesh and he has a biped skeleton inside.Maps are painted in photoshop.

I made also the floor and the chair in 3D with a mate/shadow material to receive the shadow from the ogre while keeping the objects transparent.

Animation is made by hand, with no capture motion.

All the time I had the video of the kids as environment and viewport background to animate,compose and render the scene.

Me alegro de que te haya gustado Williamsland:

El programa es el 3DMax, tanto para modelar el personaje como para animarlo (la animación está hecha a mano, no es captura de movimiento) y superponerlo al vídeo de los niños. El truco es crear un fondo en 3D igual al fondo del vídeo y ponerle un material mate/sombra, que es trasparente pero oculta lo que hay detrás y puede recibir sombras. Si se cuida la iluminación de la escena, el efecto es convincente.
