just download an app,...

''create ringtones'' from ''app beast'' in the app store for maby $ 0.99.

it lets you convert download'd music on your iphone.

connect to app store and just put the file in your libary then on your i phone again as ringtone...

not sure. some vista computers may be different than others. might be a setting deep somewhere in the computer that doesnt allow complete file changes.. not sure, sorry!

just right click it, click Properties and change "opens with" to Quicktime. Then you can edit the extension. it will automatically change back to an itunes file after changing the extension to m4r

therne are no diffrences betwin vista configuration (even if there exists pro, house, family etc..) it's all the same thing. or you're using another windows that isn't vista or you're doing somethin' rong

you have to make sure you right click the song and go to get info and change the times of the song to what you want it to be

itunes seems to have changed some things around, thanks for mentioning. but the same setting can be found under "preferences" then the "general" tab. then you click on the "import settings" button and then change it to AAC. hope you can find it and hope this helps.

you have to do the verry first step were you go to your control panel>click classic view then go folder optons and click on the view tab. once your their make sure the do not show hidden files and folders IS clicked and that the hide extentions for known file types is NOT

I just have a quick question....once you drag the .m4r file into your itunes ringtones can you delete the file from your desktop? Like is it now saved into your itunes library so you now longer need it on your desktop...

yeah you dont need them on your desktop, but i keep them in my rercycling bin just incase they all get deleted and i dont have to do it all over again for each one.

i have seen your problem. my friend has the exact same problem but im not sure whats happening. i will try to figure out a solution as soon as possible. but he had an extra music player on his computer and when he double clicked the desktop ringtone file, it didnt go to iTunes, it went to another music player that im not familiar with. so if you have another music player on your computer, you might have to delete it but i'm not 100% sure.
