  • that's an ugly lens.

  • i want it!

  • that's a mighty long extender...do you use it to fuck a black hoe?

  • I'm either not going to use my lens hood or i will paint it to match.

  • scs ma quanto costa??

  • @SS97A dipende dal negozio, diciamo che il prezzo varia dai 1300 ai 1500 € ..

    ciao!

  • FUCK ME I REALLY WANT THIS ONE !! :D

  • Go strait for the 400MM 2.8, the 100-400 has a tough time with sharp images unless it is bright day light to produce sharp images. I tried to self rationalize for almost a year until I got the 300 and 400 Primes.

  • i have had one 2 years and use all the time, never had any dust inside. you must have a faulty one.

  • one big dust pump! nikon all the way!

  • @quickshooter100 You Sir, are the reason I hate photographers in general. "Ohhh my brand is way cooler, I won't give any proper arguments I'll just bash".

Had Nikon, various cams. Had Canon, a lot more cams, had this lens and about 8 more L lenses... loved Canon. This lens did not generate any dust just like with my 28-300.

  • @stevegek easy fella! im going on experiance ! moved from canon to nikon and never been happier, but its the eye behind the gear thats vital! cheer up!

  • This is a great lens for shooting outdoor field and extreme sports and occasionally nature photography.

  • one big problem... the push-pull zoom sucks dust! I have one, in one month I could see all the dust inside. And I'm very carefull when using it.

  • Hmmm, I have one as well, about 6 months, no dust at all. Not like the dust will show up in the pic anyway.

  • @Femidio1

    Agree

  • pretty smooth lens I'd say!

@miltonsaurinaromero, uhm, the combo u've got there provides a much poorer IQ than the 100-400 @ any focal length. The 2x converter does very very mutch to the sharpness. Though the 70-200 without any extenders the sharpness would be slightly noticably better (with 100% crop) than the 100-400 @ 100-200 focal length and wide open. still, I think a 70-200 f/4 IS and a 1,4x is a very nice combo in the 100-300 f/5,6 range.

  • What's up with that huge lens hood?

  • @knarleysurfer54

That's not that big, look at the L primes for big.

  • once you go nikon..you never go bikon.

  • @ModulatedSignal what's a bikon

  • @cpcrame it's a nikon for blacks

  • Hi, nice vid! Hey, I am looking to purchase either a Canon 70-200 IS L 2.8 or the Canon 100-400 IS L lens to shoot my sons football games and scenic shots in Colorado, which do you recommend? FYI, I am using the Canon 5D Mark II.

  • grazie:) .

  • if you shot outside and need more mm take 100-400L,

if indoors and 200mm is enough to get close, 70-200 2.8 is very popular lens

  • You should get the 100-400 definitely. On your camera, you can crank that ISO up way high and still get incredible quality -- so you won't need the fast aperture as much -- and the extra range will more than make up for it.

  • Get the 70-200 IS L 2.8 + 2X Extender !!!!

It´s the same price but a much better combination.

  • @beastyfourpointsix

    70-200 2.8

  • @beastyfourpointsix 70-200 for sure...

but shouldn't you have known that seeing as you own a 5Dmk2?

  • gr8 demonstration, please do more vids about this lens!!

    5*

  • the lens is actually a lot more solid and big than in the video, great quality though.
