Forgot to mention that heavy is only better till you can afford a decent martial set that is higher then osmium. Example: sigmetal, forcium etc. But since a lot of people don't have those amounts of money and prefer to use osmium till late 140s heavy stays better.

All the people that are saying that your losing out on def rate are stupid. The only def rate your losing is from the armor which isn't much. Str and dex gives you EQUALLY as much def rate so your only losing some def rate on the armor while gaining a pretty high amount of def. + With the def rate buff of the blader your def rate will still be high enough to dodge just about everything and the hits that you don't dodge will be low due to your armor.

that wasn't the best move. Dex is also usefull for a Blader. I have Int as low as possible and something like 460 Str and 350 Dex so I can wear Blades and Armour.

Good job on the effort anyway but i'm gonna agree with the rest of the guys here...

You don;t have to buy all those potions because BL uses str and dex in about the same amount so eventually you will wear armor and martial set....

I think havy bl is stupid because normal BL got LOT of rate defence very good in PVP,righit now I got a WA 168,FA 111 and BL 92 with my BL I beat others BL lvl 110..... and WA at last 105 I only lose when they use Bm1 with aura or just BM2 XD

Nowadays we all use the term pve (some oldskool games still use the term "pvm"), that's true.

It got changed from pvm to pve when the environment itself played a role, how small the effect even was. So going around blaming people for saying pvm is pretty childish. It all depends from when you started playing.

if u want to make a heavy blader its better to either wait till ur like lvl140+ wen u hav enuf dex for a forc blade or to start out as one by adding more str than dex from lvl1. the benefits of a heavy blader far out way the risks, however ppl shudnt go heavy blader for the def since slotted +7 forc has way more def than a +7 osm armor suit.

I dont know, I ve heard that it is supposedly better in PvP cuz higher Base Defense. Martial is higher Def Rate i think, but Def rate is useless in pvp since everyone combos.

Those are 'Extract Potion(DEX)'.

When using 1, it will extract 1DEX. So you can use that point to add it on INT or STR.

no, +6 slotted mystic has more def then +6 double slotted osm armor. not much though, just like 5. osm is better for pvp though, its hard to get good mystic/forci for pvp gear.

i know this postin is old but i think i know wat ur problem is. that is if u havent figured it out. on the download page go the cnet link. most of the installers on the other links dont work. u can tell they are different too cuz they are not even same size. the faulty one is about 800mb while the good one is 900mb

You get those pots as Monster Drops, they drop pretty often (in Undead Ground and higher level Maps).

And it's true that Mysitc has a better Defense than an Osmium Armourset, and since there is no further diiference between Dex and Str, Heavy BL seems to be completely useless.

Anyway; is you put everything on a row, you'll know that a regular BL is better.

- Dex & Str are EXACTLY the same

- As a BL, you can't wear anything better than Osmium

- The BL's Mystic Martialset is better than an Osmium Armourset

- Because of your low Dex, you won't be able to use higher level weapons (I'm not sure about this one, as I myself am a Katana user)

it depends from ur stat manegement . u can be heavy blader with martial set :) if ur statpoints will be concentrated on strenght... ofc in heavy set u can go more on strenght than in martial, but anyway, martial items are cheaper, so u can buy martial items with better options than heavy...
