@nutothis1 True, but G.C. was in the Spinners BEFORE Phillippe. G.C. sang lead on this original Motown hit "IT'S A SHAME" . When the group left Motown, G.C. couldn't go because he was still under contract to Motown, so he recommended his cousin, Phillip Walker (AKA Phillippe Wynne) , to replace him in the group.

IMHO, The original recording of "It's a Shame" is one of the greatest pop vocal performances of all time. A voice like that can make me happy and bring a tear to my eye at the same time. Just as impressive - he's still go it! Keep the faith!

@williamg2552 ur right he did have a good voice and so did all the rest of the spinners including 1245 pervis jackson bass voice. but you know that bobby and phillipe got all of the credit because they were lead singers and they traded leads on numerous songs. but they all had great voices including gc cameron who had like six different voices and can still hit a high note! but u did make a good point. peace.
