@guyclark1958 Thanks for the words of encouragement, I've delt with those things a long time ago, and have let go. don't need the "meds", but there is help for us out there, we just have to be unafraid to ask. Sometimes our pride gets in the way. I just twist one upand put on songs like this. Be Sound my friend.
Great Song. Saw them at Darian Lake, NY(Buffalo) 1980something with Nazareth and 10 Years After. Beer trucks were selling buckets of beer from the truck. My wife had a headache for 3 days and has never been with me to a rock concert since.
Thirty years ago my brothers and i had a pack of coon hounds we always played this song on our trusty eight track tape player to get fired up before we turned the dogs loose !!!!!!
Seen these guys in Belfast, 1982, I think, - Marauder tour! - fukin' awesome and very tight - sound was phenomenal - good ol' Rick keepin' Skynyrd goin' now - well done fella!!
Shooooot, me and my pa, we yooose to be huntin them raskals all along snow places. We dun ride skiimobiles and beats Em' over da head with a club. Ol baseball bats werks good tooo.
i saw def leppard open a show for black foot in ST.Louis drove over 200 miles to see leppard guitarest passed out on stage 3rd song in they left stage and didn't come on again . so black foot took stage earl rocked our ass off and no one was pissed about the lost leppard show m.b
@mcbutler65 I saw the same tour in Georgia. It was Blackfoot, Rossinton-Collins and Def Leppard. DL played and were great but no one noticed at all...the band even complained that the crowd was not in it. In realitty though the crowd was just a bunch of hillbillies...about 75% were drunk. Anyway Blackfoot came out and were so bad I actually left early but the crowd going completely nuts!
I was backstage with Blackfoot in 1982 at Sandy Creek, near Montgomery, AL. Shorty was not with them on that trip. Great show though. Lots of photos on my website.
I saw these guys open for Scorpions in 1980 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London.
When they came out on stage everybody laughed. 5 minutes later we were getting our fucking heads blown off.
Later, 30 minutes into Scorpions set, the whole place was chanting Blackfoot, Blackfoot, Blackfoot !!!!!! Scorpions cut their set short & fucked-off back to Germany sulking. Never seen it happen before or since at a gig.
Blackfoot - The greatest pure ass-kicking live band I have ever seen to this day.
@Mopar604 -that's a great rock story...i have no doubt they blew the scorps right off the stage and back to the 'hinterland'! my older bro had a similar story...they opened for def leppard back in '81...no one knew who the hell they were [or def leppard for the most part] but he said blackfoot stole that show right out from under them!
@matthewme23 They probably blew the scorps away with Matthias Jabbs in the line-up, but they'd never blow them away with Uli Roth..that dude was just to good. I love my Native brothers anyhow!
@OpenCoreCreator The first time I ever saw AC/DC, Blackfoot was the opening band. September 16, 1980. Horton Fieldhouse, Normal, IL. Exactly one week before my 13th birthday. Tickets were $8.00 for the public and $7.50 for students. I still have my ticket stub. Both bands were F@#$in' AWESOME! I'll never forget it.
oh well if you dont know how blackfoot hits the soul get outa the way ITS A FOX CHASE!
