They've always said the dumb dog did perfect in all the test shots however one wonders why it was so useless in the actual filming. It's not like the dog is manic and is performing badly. It's just standing there not knowing what to do and I think we can chalk that down to training. could also be that it were tired. Marilyn herself said it looked tired. Anyhow.

@MadonnaProject How about that footage shot from behind marilyn. how abusive was that to marilyn and the dog. You can also hear cukor in this scene and others interrupt marilyn during the scene in order to make marilyn do it again even though she was doing it perfectly. I think FOX had a plan to try and make marilyn stuff up so they could put it in the press.

I love how she does the retakes all differently. She truely was talented. Oh and how beautiful is she?
