This just sound dumb. Everyone keeps saying how UT defense was so great and how they would have stopped NU from doing anything. On a "great" defense and terrible (due to injuries) offense still put up enough points to potientially break the Longhorns heart. If that defense was so great how come they didn't shut out the Huskers. Revenge never solves anything, it actually keeps drama going but I look forward to seeing the two teams meet again next season.

Lol. So much for Texas winning 24-7.. Suh Ndamunated McCoy in this game, along with the rest of the Husker defense. Colt (real name Daniel, by the way) threw THREE interceptions and got sacked NINE times.. Lee was sacked ONCE, yet Texas defense was soo spectacular. It was a close game and there may have been bad calls but they went both ways. I respect Nebraska and there my second favorite team in the big 12 but a win is a win. LOL. Apparently you didn't see the illegal block to the back when Texas punted to NE did you. On the punt return that started the drive to get NE in FG range, and which NE's kicker nailed to jump Texas for the lead with under 2mins left, there was an ILLEGAL BLOCK TO THE BACK that wasn't called on Nebraska, so the REFS gave NE that opportunity to get the FG to jump TEXAS for the lead with under 2mins left. So the REFS ALMOST, ALMOST gave Nebraska the win, but Texas capitalized on NE's mistakes.
Texas pretty much gave NU the win from the opening kickoff. When your "Heisman" qb can't get one touchdown pass with a #5 ranked offense (given it wasn't all his fault but he is the general ont he field) then it leaves the opportunity for the opposing team to possibly win kicking field goals (because their offense is 102nd in the nation). I was there and i remember looking at the clock when it hit the ground and it said 1 second. it shouldnt of even said 1 second. it should of said 5 seconds but colt decided to be a dumb ass and not throw the ball away until there was 3 seconds left. but there was only one clock that showed how much time was left that he could see but i guess he didnt see but he got lucky
Oh and further more the only reason NE got close enough to kick to get ahead was because of a blown call on the punt return for what should have been a big block in the back that even the announcer called b4 the play was over but the refs missed it.

This just sound dumb. Everyone keeps saying how UT defense was so great and how they would have stopped NU from doing anything. On a "great" defense and terrible (due to injuries) offense still put up enough points to potientially break the Longhorns heart. If that defense was so great how come they didn't shut out the Huskers. Revenge never solves anything, it actually keeps drama going but I look forward to seeing the two teams meet again next season.

I just posted my video of the "Texas Chop Block"...Dude chopped nothing but air. I suppose if a player were to attempt to "facemask", then the attempt would be reason to throw a flag. I suppose, if a player "meant to hold a pass receiver, but was too inept to grab the jersey" that would be enough to throw a flag for attempted defensive pass interference. Lol. So much for Texas winning 24-7.. Suh Ndamunated McCoy in this game, along with the rest of the Husker defense. Colt (real name Daniel, by the way) threw THREE interceptions and got sacked NINE times.. Lee was sacked ONCE, yet Texas defense was soo spectacular. Seriously, no offense to them, but it doesn't take much to hold back the Nebraska offense. The Blackshirts kept us in this game. McCoy was lucky to escape with his life, let alone a win with the way Suh played.

Ok, you can't rate Texas on one game out of the entire season. Nebraska has the best defense in the entire nation. Next year, Nebraska will be very powerful. The fact of the matter is, Nebraska couldn't get into the endzone. Sure, McCoy threw 2 interceptions but we still got into the endzone. Nebraska had no offense and that was why they lost the game. LOL. Apparently you didn't see the illegal block to the back when Texas punted to NE did you. On the punt return that started the drive to get NE in FG range, and which NE's kicker nailed to jump Texas for the lead with under 2mins left, there was an ILLEGAL BLOCK TO THE BACK that wasn't called on Nebraska, so the REFS gave NE that opportunity to get the FG to jump TEXAS for the lead with under 2mins left. So the REFS ALMOST, ALMOST gave Nebraska the win, but Texas capitalized on NE's mistakes.

Texas pretty much gave NU the win from the opening kickoff. When your "Heisman" qb can't get one touchdown pass with a #5 ranked offense (given it wasn't all his fault but he is the general ont he field) then it leaves the opportunity for the opposing team to possibly win kicking field goals (because their offense is 102nd in the nation). The jersey isnt equipment.. which is what the rule states. Meanwhile on that same play Suh was tackled... Nebraskas O sucked all year. Everyone knew that going in to the game. well Texas won, and as a Husker we won't allud to how they did it, but evry Texas fan has to admit, they got PUNISHED by the Balck Shirt Defense...and SU showed exactly who is THE heisman man. Texas , lmao, they aint got a chance at the national level from games like this, yet Nebraska, came with what they had, and schooled the horns, the worst offense ever, and still DOMINATED with only DEFENSE, take it to the bank, with only TWO seniors on the whole team playing,

Who schooled who. Look at the friggin' scoreboard. 13-12 Texas over Nebraska. It takes a great team to comeback from behind with less than two minutes in the game, and that is what Texas did. Plus, Alabama barely beat Auburn. Did they get LUCKY too. It takes some amount of luck to go 13-0 in a season.

You got the ball on the 40 because Kunalic kicked it out of bounds. Had Texas got it at the 20 I dont think you win. Ill take luck too and so would anyone. but you make it sound like you drove 99 yards with no time outs. You went 30 yards in 2 minutes and your Coach and QB almost threw away your season. Texas was a 14 point favorite and barely won. Had Nebraska had a shitty offense and not fucking shitty Texas loses by 14. good luck in the NC game. Represent the Big 12

we got so lucky last night,,if nebraska hadnt commited those 2 penalties and i dont know what colt or brown were thinking those last 30 seconds and barely giving lawrence a second to barely make a field goal then we would not be going to pasadena,,we were supposed to DOMIANTE this game as confidence to beat the SEC winner,,but now Colt is out of the heisman due to that game and Suh or someone else has a shot

I gotta give texas credit they have a good team and it takes a lot to go undefeated. As a bystander Nebraska defense > Texas defense. They were hands down faster and more physical. Nebraska's offense made Texas's defense look good. I'm rooting for the longhorns in the national championship, but they definitely will have to raise their game to beat Alabama. Alabama will have a defense similar to nebraska so its gonna be a uphill climb.

Well there mission was to win but i gotta give it to nebraska they should of won the clock was 1 the defense played there asses off they should of won but obviously Colt McCoys wish came true but oh-well does'nt matter usually i want to follow the bigh 12 in bowl games but alabama is goin to eat them alive p.s. Im talkin about all the ppl that were cryin about cheating, this that and the other, ill admit nebraskas defense killed mc coy that game but I will say that no one was exposed, if anyone has intelligence they would know that the texas offensive line hasnt been all that great since vince was there so of course they were gonna have alot of trouble facing a #3 ranked d-line so whoever thinks they were exposed obviously dont watch football enough

and coming from someone I know that isnt biassed towards either team says that there were an equal amount of missed calls on both sides of the feild, even the announcers noticed that but at the end of the day texas won and that cant be reversed, the only thing left up to question is the opinion of the bcs polls

no NU D is not better than TX. . . . that game was a clash of DEFENSIVE TITANS. . .i just couldnt believe NU destroyed McCoy and his offense the way we did . . .I was expecting a score like 21 13 or something. . i really thought Tx could score more than that. . even their 1 touchdown to me is questionable. . . McCOy came down with the football right on the plane. . and no camera angle could really tell if his knee was down or not.. they gave em the TD. . lucky longhorns. . . .

no they didnt steal the victory. . .but they got one FREE pass interference call. ..even the commentators were in disbelief at that one. . and they got a TD that was questionable. thebn they got two VERY fortunat breaks in the last 1 minute . . one bad kick that put them on the 40. . then a horsecollar. . . thats what won them the game . . . it definitely wasnt their overrated offense though. . .GO BIG RED

That 1 point win put us in the national championship game. And yeah potentially Alabama could beat us but you never know what can happen. We weren't favored against USC but look who won that game? WE DID.

The clock stops as soon as the ball goes out of bounds, it doesnt matter if its in the air or on the ground...
I felt like Nebraska won that game, there were some VERY questionable calls... Like that pass interference call.
If the refs did their job correctly, Nebraska would have taken the title.

You won against one of the worst offenses by a point.
Hell, I'm a Husker fan and I'm somewhat disappointed that the Horns DIDN'T beat us in a blowout.
Suh got blocked so many times illegally, if not held, but then again the Refs fail to call a lot of things for both sides. It was an amazing game that our D-Line played their hearts out for, and your Offense proved just how flimsy it is when under real pressure.
Anyway, good job - Can't wait to see Alabama take home the title.:)

The ball hit the ground with a 1 second left. I was there and i remember looking at the clock when it hit the ground and it said 1 second. it shouldnt of even said 1 second. it should of said 5 seconds but colt decided to be a dumb ass and not throw the ball away until there was 3 seconds left. but there was only one clock that showed how much time was left that he could see but i guess he didnt see but he got lucky

Oh and further more the only reason NE got close enough to kick to get ahead was because of a blown call on the punt return for what should have been a big block in the back that even the announcer called b4 the play was over but the refs missed it.

missed calls??? Suh getting held every play. He was Tackled on the play where the BS horse collar call (jersey doesnt count on horse collar it has to be equipment). Announcers commented on him being held all night. They call 2 chop blocks out over everything else that happened to him. So dont bring up the missed or non call card

Hahaha thats funny because there actually is a rule to reset the game clock u helmet wearing fool. The refs stop play to reset the game clock all game and further more the refs blew it dead as it was getting to 1 so the clock keeper let another whole second go after it was blown dead and the refs all immediately signaled for NE to get back. Get over it....ur team only gets 7 first downs the whole game..u deserve to lose.

embarrassed UT....I think u may wanna check that score bored again. Your team tried 2 different QB's and still couldnt get it done. If not for your kicker...u dont even score. Last night just proved that no matter how good one man is...being Suh...that still wont win the game. NU has zero balance and without Suh next year now which wont help the other defensive ends since he drew double coverage. We'll see another average NU team next year to.

In most cases your right about the system being the difference...except for when one DT is up for I think 7 or so awards like Suh. Him demanding so much attention frees up the average DT's and DE's. He made the system look better then it really is by being the man child out there...you'll see next season

Most of the D is back Suh and Asanti are gone for sure. Crick the other DT is a soph and both ends come back. Cant replace Suh but crick is a stud and young Steinkuhler will be on the field. We will be just fine. And were getting some recruits to come not. 2 4 star Juco guys committed the other day. A OL and RB.
