\anyone going to a concert here, here is a big tip. Get there early, if not you have to climb up a good sized hill and are lucky to see the stage, (been to 2 or 3 shows here.)
I lived in San Francisco since 1969 and the one Stern Grove concert I didn't know about. What a life time joy to have been at. Wish Ms Baez come back to the Grove in my life time
All my life, I've seen Joan turn out for the oppressed, for peace, for human rights, like a constant star in heaven, with a voice FROM heaven. She epitomizes the hope for a better world, to me, and I finally had the chance to tell her so. Thanks for posting this !
I was there and it was such a proud moment for all Iranians as American people stood with us in solidarity...Tahmoures is my friend's cousin, he leads Shams Ensemble (Traditional Iranian/kurdish folk Music) after his father, Mr. Pournazeri, they've played a number of times around the bay in the recent years ...he is a very nice guy...it was so good to see him up there, damesh garm!
thanks for sharing.

Thank you for posting this and bringing our world so much closer.
Thanks also to Ms. Baez, who has been there when called, and when her immense spirit is moved to help change the world.
