Native Americans once populated this large area. The Native Americans translated Lake Quassapaug to mean "Big Pond" or "Big Rock".

By 1908, A TROLLEY LINE was put through Middlebury and Lake Quassapaug became a summer resort.

Wow what twits. That "tunnel for midgets" is part an old cooling system. They would cram ice in there and store food in the room above like a huge fridge, or dead body in the winter till the ground would thaw. TWITS

been there, its nothing special. totally check out the cedarcreast asylum, it's insane, ive been there a few times, you go in threw the basement and have 3 floors to go threw, theres a chair with all these batteries hooked up to it, andan old frezzer that we tied open while doing recordings just in case, theres a bunch of old beds and shit, but be careful they patrol the old asylum all the time, fucking state cops. they never do anything when you get caught just ruin the experience.
