@wadie626 make the ip address the same as the default ip but change the last set of numbers to what ever you want as long as another computer hasnt got it

like the default router is the default ip unedited

and the subnet mask is normaly 255.255.255.0

the ip address is the same as default apart from you have to change the last set of digits id suggest just putting 100 at the end away from the ip address of your computers look at 1:42 to see what im talking about

well well, thanx for the help bro BUT !

The general problem about this failure leads with 1 main issue.

1-) The system can not detect the router ( thats why you can not perform the "scan" phase.

If this is the case, it means your fucking wireless card (hardware) is outfunctioning (if you are using wireless) or vise versa .

So in this case, stop struggling and go to your service. The wireless netwok card is dead... :(

If your having trouble this is why do everything he says to do 1st..., after that go do it the same again but this time follow mine, 1st scan for a connection click on your connection 2nd do your password 3rd now you will get to the IP Adresses deactive then and go automatic, 4th go along till it says automatic or manual on IP adress deactivate it then it will work :)

Ok guys this is how you get your default router, the primary DNS and the secondary and pretty much evrething you need for this. all you got to do is go in the sart menu of windows then go in 'run' then type in ipconfig/all this will give you ALL the info you need more then simply typing in ipconfig

@tjk259 Thats because you need to find your dns error. PS3s arent made with DNS servers so you have to use the servers from your pc. To do this go to your computer, press start and go to the "Run" application. Click that and a window should pop up. Type in CMD into the search bar. It should open up a black window. Type in ipconfig/all and press enter. It should give you all info of your network info. Look for the DNS Servers and put those numbers in your PS3.
