This is a truly amazing remix to my favorite song from the entire Final Fantasy series. IX was the best out of all of them in my opinion. To hell with Cloud and Squall and all their emo crap. Zidane was able to return from his emotional crash without taking an ENTIRE game to do so. He's the best of the main characters of FF!

The thing you have to remember though is that Cloud, Squall, and Zidane all go through different things. It's unfair to call any of them emo. They each have their own merits, flaws, and quirks. It's something we'll all never agree on, so let's just say we're happy the games exist. PS1 RPGs forever! Can I get a whut whut if anybody agrees? =p

I try to think of a word to describe how this song makes me feel but I can't think of one. Then if I try to explain how I feel to someone else I can't because this song brings on so many emotions at once. This song deserves more attention.

Zidane will always have a special place in my heart, even more so than any of the other Final Fantasy main characters. In my opinion he's the greatest. He doesn't do the whole emo character thing, in spite of everything that happens he remains upbeat and positive, giving the members in his party something to fight for. The one time he actually loses it (when this song plays in fact) he soon comes back to his senses with the knowledge that his friends will always be there for him. Truly touching.

I agree wholeheartedly. Zidane seems so real to me because I know people like him. And when it comes to despair, when they crash, they really crash hard. Just like Zidane did in Pandemonium.

This song is awesome, and so was the original - especially during the scene it came from...9 is so ignored - it saddens me muchly, considering how Cloud and Squall are so damn overhyped, character wise - Zidane Tribal had the best personality of the 3 PS1 protagonists, and yet he's criminally overlooked for a pair of Emo Prettyboy Twits?!
