Barack Obama is good at convincing liberals but that's it. We need a moderate Democrat in the White House who's going to work across party lines and actually enact liberal legislation. I don't consider myself necessarily biased politically, but I do think that any society that devalues its middle class is morally out of bounds. The America i live in needs a better system for getting insurance companies to do their job of paying out. They are huge organizations that are adverse toward their individual clients. i got hurt on the job, (life saving emergency surgery). They pretty much gave me the option of going bankrupt or in debt. Why would a person choose to go to work if that could happen especially if one is force to buy that insurance to go to work. They are basically adverse toward the insured. Time to awaken? yes

Another short story: i went to the Emergency room to see if i could get a scrip for warfarin. (related to the previous chest injury and i would die without it) They got me to sign a paper.  After ten minutes the charged me $1K. I'll die before i go there again. Apparently the CEO needed a private jet or a new jaguar or something. As far as i'm concerned that is where insurance and health care stand. It is a status war where the politicians are on the side of themselves and gaining status.
