The crown was estimated by comparing photo's to other crowds that had been there,by an university. Their count was 1.7 million,

I heard freedom works the racist group that suports killing a doctor in a church cant even count lol ,it was 60 thousand size of a football game lol Obama did that in a lot of sates running, & there where 2 million at the INGORATION WAY MORE , racist go home. You are right about one thing ... the DC FD did in fact size the crowd at 70,000 ... at 9 AM! That's why they forced the march to start 2 1/2 hours early, as it proceeded to grow to over a million my 12 noon.
Talk about "brain dead." Bravo to you, asshat.

nice try but DC Fire Department gave that Crowd size estimate at 4 PM!
70 thousand is still stretching it as the Wahington Post and local TV outlets, who have experience with reporting crowd size around DC, had the crowd size at about 30 to 40 thousand. LOL!

Nice try right back at ya. Go ahead and look at the 9/12 Time Lapse video on YouTube from 8:00 - 11:30 AM. Watch it and tell me that's only 30,000 - 40,000 people. If you actually believe that then you are either 1) an amazingly poor judge of crowd sizes or 2) insane.
Even ABC news estimated the crowd at between 1.2 million and 1.6 million. If you have a brain and a pair of eyes in your head (which you obviously don't) you can see this crowd was far larger than 30-40k. Get a clue! LOL!

NBC reporter, Tom Costello, led into the piece by saying Park Police estimated the crowd in the "tens of thousands," but he said "Our own people (NBC's) say in the hundreds of thousands."
NBC's own people: Crowd in the Hundreds of Thousands.
The Washington Examiner reported, "Local police agencies estimated around 1.2 million people attended the rally, but several news outlets, including ABC and Fox News, said the crowd was nearly double that"

BigRichard, I hope folks like Flymic are confident enough to stay home in November 2010. I'm sure these folks gathering from around the country to protest means absolutely nothing. Obama's tonedeafness will catch up to him (and Congress) and there will be a reckoning.
