Is this the "Sleeper Camshaft" #25-220R on the TSP site? It's the only 220 cam they show, but has different lift and your car sounds nothing like a sleeper so I was a little confused. I love the way your car sounds and was thinking about getting the same cam. Is that the one?

@crazzzyDoc It's easy mate I had the same cam in my gen4 6.0L and it idled like that. low idle speed pull timing back to 15* and 15.1 AFR and it will sound like that. You can also get em to idle smoothly if you wish with more timing and 13.0 afr's .

@bbrice5798 I use Efilive Brice , I suggest you visit Hptuners forum for info specific to that product. But basically just adjust the commanded fuel in the relevent cells. You will need to log you vehicle to see what it is doing efore hand though. I am sure there is a good Tutorial supplied with Hptuners software you could read.

With some time spent tuning he can tame some of the lope right out of it. Probably a tad rich in the vid .. More air you move through a motor ((better heads/more lift) more pronounced everything will be.

Engine swaps in these cars are a pain in the ass. Do-able, just a pain. And to answer your question, no, a V6 is not going to have the same exhaust note as an LS1 no matter what kind of muffler you put on.
