To all whiners:

Shut your whining. IMO Filth has always been the greatest Gothic metal band ever, since Principle of Evil to this day. Who are you to say what is "proper CoF", if the band wants to compose one song that is a bit easier to listen to, so be it. The only thing I don't like about this song is the intro and the clean vocals. Study the band, read the lyrics and read the Gospel of Filth before saying that Filth is ruined. There is quite a lot incommon with Venus Aversa and older Filth.

And one more thing: if you actually listened to what Dani and the band have been saying, this album is meant to be a sort of counterpart for the preceding album Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder --> Godspeed was an extremely masculine album (and a fu**ing great album), so Venus Aversa is meant to be a more feminine album. If you have any braincells in your heads you can infer what it means. This album is MEANT to sound very different from the other albums and especially Godspeed.
