Post your opinions in WoW vid thread...but wow expansions that make your gear and earnings useless isnt opinion. Whether or not you like paying to play and endless grind is though. So enjoy the scheduled raids. Hopefully the loot is useful for as long as it took you to grind it.

@coochanawe In my opinion, WoW is simply boring. That's literally ALL you have to say to describe WoW. SWG, just isn't high-paced enough, combat is slow.. :l I, this is just me but, I can't wait for SW:ToR. It's going to be an MMO that won't lose it's excitement for a while. It's not coming out for another year, and everyone is already pep'd up for the release, and they were in 2008 whenever I signed up too! :D

The tria IS online, You start in an isolated tutorial, where there might be other beginners and trial users. But when you pass through that you are borught into the greater game. And other versions of SWG are emulators and will not give you the content or performance you want

A new Star Wars Game set in the Old Republic was announces recently, but will not be out for a few more years and will feature a very different type of play.

PvP on Tempest is pretty consistent now. They are usually 2 groups vs. 2 groups at least, and good fights go for about 5 hours (with people refilling the line as others leave).

hey i have a few questions...i played this game precu and a few months after nge, i was wondering how the game is atm? last time i played all the nonjedi professions had terrible animations. all their attack animations were some bright glowy stuff...has any of that changed at all?

Here's the honest run down. The game is very much like CU. The speed of combat is like NGE. Animations from the old days are back for many profession, and run their course. So if you use a sweep attack, then use a strike, the sweep will take priority and run out its full animation.

For the particles you can turn them on and off as you like.

On the topic of Jedi, I can probably address another concern. A cl 90 starter Jedi is nowhere near a Jedi that has been invested in. The new Jedi content for meditative discipline, cloaks, waistpacks, hilts, and then SEA builds, Powerups, buff items, etc. create toons that could kill several "want to be Jedi."

The game now is ..build your character by playign the game, and incorporating rewards into your expertise template...not simply poke lair to unlock abilities.

The game is great..but has a bad rep with veteran SWGers due to a few huge game changes in its history.

Create a Character on Tempest server and send a tell to klendest. I'll show you around.
