@uche007us As a US Congressman he is supposed to follow the Rule of Law which is the US Constitution. As a State level voter or politician he would still be in favor of the vast majority libertarian positions as his ethics & understanding of Austrian economics would still bring him to the same logical conclusions on economic matters. It's just a matter of delegation of powers. Example, he'd still favor the legalization of marijuana at the State level but it must be passed at that level not DC.

These people sit around writing crap books and shoving them down their listener's throats, and none of them spent so much as two-minutes serving the country they claim to love so much. Ron Paul threatens the status quo and they don't like it, so they hammer on the one guy that "actually" wants to go by the Constitution and do what's best for this county for a change!

As far as national security the drone incident yo mention is of little importance. Obama took a HUGE chance and killed Bin Laden... that is far more important, and I can thank him for doing that for ME and every other American. All of his detractors conveniently choose to "forget" about that little event, when the leader of Al Qaeda was taken out, yet some meaningless drone incident with Iran is completely blown out of proportion. Sorry, but I think you views are more than a little skewed...

Obama ordered the operation based on intelligence, and carried it out out from the beginning, taking a huge chance, by the way, because it would have been humiliating and politically deadly for him if the mission had failed. Nixon, the man who began the 'War on Drugs' was quoted as saying, "You have to admit that the blacks are really the entire problem. The key is devising a system that addresses this without appearing to." The War on Drugs is a joke... supposedly hemp is more environmentally friendly than corn and produces 3-5 times as much gallons of ethanol per acre but we don't use it because it looks like Marijuana... which is really a harmless plant when compared to alcohol.

@uche007us As a US Congressman he is supposed to follow the Rule of Law which is the US Constitution. As a State level voter or politician he would still be in favor of the vast majority libertarian positions as his ethics & understanding of Austrian economics would still bring him to the same logical conclusions on economic matters. It's just a matter of delegation of powers. Example, he'd still favor the legalization of marijuana at the State level but it must be passed at that level not DC.

As long as you don not believe in using coercive means to achieve your end you are acting as a libertarian. Now having said that, having a logically consistent libertarian view means being a methodological individualist which is the antithesis of polylogist Darwinian collectivism. So, a racist can use libertarian means but logically he can never be a true libertarian.

If anyone bothered to read the so-called racist newsletters, I mena it's pretty much a joke. There are some dumb stereotypes in them, but a lot is just sarcasm and Government statistics. But this is the ONLY thing that have trying to prevent Ron Paul from becoming President.
