  • Oooo.....I wasn't doing the piston thing. I just made big steps as fast as I can..... And I was wondering why i'm so slow...

  • I've done plenty of research on the drive phase, and I'm still trying to improve myself, but I think a couple of things can be fixed on her posture. She gets up too early (after the second stride) and her contact point is a bit ahead of the hips. If she made foot contact a bit behind the hips, she would be down longer and she'd cover more distance between strides (and not look so 'bouncy')

  • This has to be the best acceleration mechanics talk ever. The best part is you tell people exactly how to train/cue athletes to perform the proper mechanics instead of just stating what they are as 99% of the world does. Love it! Nice work.
