Among 1000 voices I will always know who Obraztsova is. Her trademark is her passionate voice, her range, the little hysteria, what a gifted singer!! Besides, this is one of the greatest duets ever written, in my opinion. So it should never be eliminated in whatever version Boris is put on stage.
