Hi I have a minimag flashlite and a axiz laser housing and a DVD burner diode and was wondering if I could replace the diode in the housing or if I would need a driver board and which one I would need if I do need a driver board could you please tell me which one I would need and how to wire it up? Yes, it is the AMC 7135 rated for 350mA.

Yes, it won't provide the voltage for violet laser diodes, its best for red laser diodes.

I filmed this shortly after completeing the green laser, the other two were made in the weeks prior, so there was still smoke residual smoke in the air from that that helped bring out the beams a bit.

Yes, the AMC7135 regulators i am using have a input voltage range of 3-4.5V and a fixed output of 350mA

Are your focusable modules from Aixiz? Mine is but it had no metal ring to adjust it you just had to turn the plastic part the lens was mounted in.

Most of my modules are from Aixiz. I sometimes by from other resellers like on ebay or online hobby shops in bulk, some come with metal rings, and some don't. I have enough extra that i can choose to use one with or with out it

All my hand made lasers use adjustable focus modules, so that i can burn an object up close or far away with just a simple twist of the focusing ring.

The red uses an AMC7135 driver providing 350mA, while the violet uses a FlexDrive providing 125mA. The green uses the included driver.
