you did an excellent job with the Title and words. i have a senior Telemaster and i absolutely love it. I converted it to Electric. Im now thinking of getting a 12FT Giant Telemaster.
Have to say THANKS again Justin, all went very well after you sent me photos. Then it was possible for us to build one for the Stearman and launch glider`s. Thanks a lot
PS - since this video was filmed, we've expanded to include glider towing as well. We've even gone so far as to launch one glider from the launcher, while towing another behind! Anyone that thinks electric planes are underpowered really needs to see my friend's Telemaster Electro hop off of the ground in a matter of a few feet, while towing one sailplane behind it, and hauling another on top. ;)
Good news! I have new pictures of the glider launcher. I've already sent them to everyone that I can remember that emailed me asking for them, but if I forgot anyone, fire me another email and I'll send them your way.
Sorry, no blueprints, but if you email me at raginredneck93@gmail.com, I'll send you a little better pic of the launcher. It was a one off deal that was made by a friend of mine, and to the best of my knowledge there were no plans involved besides what was in his head at the time that he made it, LOL. And you're right, actually towing a glider is not for the faint of heart, this is much safer and easier.
Pretty cool. I always wondered about making a tow plane. The piggy back is probably much more safe for the planes. You have blueprints posted anywhere for that?
