Is that the 2006 flanger with reticon or the 2009 reissue with panasonic chip? It sounds great! But... that makes the sound become alive is the echoplex! Very Very nice! Great playing too!

Lovely. Great combination of gear. The Hartman Flanger (or Electric Mistress) with a Dyna Comp-like compressor + EP-3 are a great team for stuff like this.

That sounds amazing. I am on the fence about replacing my stock DEM with the Hartman Flanger, it just does not seem to be doing it for me these days, but then again I am also looking at the Hartman BC108, and the Hartman Compressor..........I'll just buy everyone they make!!!! :))

I think that's what I mean - I've not played an Armstrong type personally, I only know what they sound like from recordings.

I was hoping that it has that kind of energetic sound that you expect from an Armstrong type, perhaps more so without the noise. As for punch, I guess I mean "pop" - specifically that kind of tone you want more of when you're playing chicken-pickin' tunes. And specifically more energetic and punchy than a Ross or Optical compressor which are also useful in their own way.
