  • Ok, so can anyone tell us all how life began? Evolution explains what happens after life began, but how did life behin...Anyone???

  • love the video really good

  • interesting video and very informative

  • (Cont)

basically the ones who can't just leave well enough alone just like their religious counterparts. I do, however, agree that it is a completely ridiculous term. I just prefer to call them "Fundamentalist atheists". While I as a "regular" atheist (I don't believe in a god, but I don't care if you do.) abhor people like this as they give the rest of us a bad name, I do agree that they get more shit than they deserve.

  • I'm sorry, this is a load of bull. None of these is what's considered to be a "militant atheist" and half the people who use the phrase use it wrong. "Militant Atheists" are atheists who are just as fundamentalist and dogmatic as the religions they claim to despise and argue against. The ones who deface churches, the ones who constantly belittle religious people (Not just argue against), the ones who borderline cry murder when someone puts a cross or manger scene up

  • i agree with you!

  • iv beem Flagged and Spammed at least twice by Shockofgod & Thirdeagle guy and one of my account was spammed by a Fudametelst with 9 accounts.

to me Cowards are Flagger and spam people 4 no Reason.

  • I don't speak up as often as I used to, because it's kind of gotten boring. I've thought about most of the topics, considered all the main points, and probably most of the minor ones (at least I haven't heard a new argument in a very long time). I have many religious friends, and my irreligion isn't a problem for them. It's not hard to get along with religious people, if they go overboard, I just explain that I disagree, and why. It doesn't have to be a confrontation.

  • The spiritual, irrational part of religions in general has been the cause of so much grief in the world, both now as in the past, that no rational being could ever agree with the concept. Being raised a christian myself, I do believe in the ideas of the philosopher Jesus, but the concept of a godlike entity does not comply with anoter very important part of my education: science....

  • Jesus Christ hates religion too.

  • God, Allah, Jesus

An imaginary friend for grown ups.

  • So basically if we refuse to be big squishy pushovers, we are classified as militant. Whereas the theists need to start shooting before they are classified as such.

  • Love this video! So many salient points, yet absurdity holds sway. Go figure!

  • Great video

  • Bloody Atom. Again a crusader, a jihadist, an extremist, an nazi, an nut job rises.

  • we need more militant atheists in order to keep this world from falling into yet another dark ages!!

you think it cannot happen again? you think the human species is too mature to regress into another dark age of superstition?? think again everyone!

egyptians were capable of 'brain surgery'

we must protect science, astronomy, mathematics, the fine arts and technology from the violent and 'easily offended' attacks of religion. its already starting...its called creationism

  • While I agree with the video generally-theists use the term "militant atheist" too loosely, I'd say there are a few instances in which I (as an atheist) would use the term in a negative light as well to describe some particularly nasty anti-religious/theist people. Being a so-called free thinker or secularist does not give you the right to be a prick to anyone who classifies themselves as religious and it works to detriment the cause, not progress it. Fuck bigoted atheists, fuck bigoted theists.

  • @Hyardacil dude u dont know what is at stake here....mathematics, science, the fine arts...if religion had its way these would all be eradicated from off the face of the earth! they would return to burning people as witches!

  • @spaghettimonsterman1 Mathematics, science and the fine arts did well under many a theocracy in history. I fail to see your point.

Furthermore I doubt any moderate christian/muslim would eradicate these things given the chance. Are you even listening to the nonsense you are spewing?

  • @Hyardacil i stand by every word i said because it is true...type 'religious girl and japan disaster' and WATCH how elated she is about all those people who died! this is what religion does to people. if you dont know that already then u r nieve. institutionalized religion as a whole is NOT GOOD. the only way a person can call themselves having a healthy relationship with their god is when they have their own personal god, and no religion shackled to them!

  • @Hyardacil and furthermore...any science and math that did well under theocracy did well only because that theocracy was kept in check by laws of the land and other outside social influences, such as a diverse number of beliefs living side by side, obligated to coexist together..

an example is UTAH mormons vs. NON UTAH mormons...the non utah-mos are nicer pple because they MUST live together with nonreligious pple in their community...this is what i call keeping it in check!

  • @Hyardacil " Mathematics, science and the fine arts did well under many a theocracy in history. " Name 1. . . Just one. . . Sure in what we now call the "islamic empire" it did well, but up untill that point it wasn't a theocracy. . . the moment it became one that empire became more about destroying knowledge then creating it.

  • Militant Christian:

Abortion killings. Hutaree. Lord's Resistance Army. Kill heretics.

    Militant Muslim:

    Al-Qaeda. Hamas. Kill heretics.

    Militant Atheist:

Talk smack on Youtube. Write provocative books with titles like "God Delusion".

Can any theist really think this is a criticism of atheists, rather than theists themselves?

  • im all for knocking on peoples doors and saying, have you heard the bad news, then hand over a leaflet with all the bibles nastys. it might be worth testing the water as the religious would no doubt complain ,then i could counter there complaint with ,guess what the same complaint.,putting an end to recruiting.many people seem to be predisposed to addiction and obsessive behaviour, we look for commomn threads in our lives, and religion feeds this behaviours. proactive athiests for reason i say.

  • An all-knowing force that governs over the affairs of the Universe, the best way to serve the force is to Love and Give. That is everything, now we must dig into ourselves to hear our purpose in this World.

  • Good for you! As militant as you imagine you might be, it pales with the crap that we get heaped on us from religious insanity.

  • Me too, FFreeThinker, me too! Keep up the "militancy"!

  • I think militant atheist should not be limited to mainly the internet. Internet is not the mainstream media. Mainstream media reach the most people. I think Atheist should make good use of the mobile phone. (text message)

  • We now know what you are against but how would you teach a generation. As an atheist what is the foundation and building blocksof your great new world where everyone is free to do whatever they feel like doing as we are all just animals trying to survive and pass our superior genes on?

  • @rocksoli4 If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we really should all kill one another.

  • @SaraCufer I agree with you that if the motive to do good is fear of punishment its a pretty sick way of living. My motive is love for others no matter who they are. As a Christian I am sure of eternal life. I know God's love for me He gave his life for me. God's command is that we love each other as He has loved us. He also said "Love your neighbour as yourself" If you know you are loved by God you have true love for self therefore you can truly love others.

  • @SaraCufer God fills you with a joy to live and a joy to give. It's fantastic

  • @rocksoli4 Is it

  • Comment removed

  • Indeed, Tragically Ironic

  • why dont more atheists speak up?maybe because when the reality of what they beleive finally hits them, like a ton of bricks ,the majority hide behind the equivalent of nut case religiuos leaders like sheep.always seeking more to enhance the miserable ideas they now feel they have to endure..really ask yourself ...WHY do i WANT to debate a theist?deep down obvious(but never admitted)t

  • All I can say is "Amazing"... Very well said, I myself am a "Militant Atheist" in this aspect. Though i'm a bit more modest when face to face, and that is something I'm trying to change... Videos like these are encouragement for those with less strength, keep up the good fight.

  • can anyone tell me the songs name, thx

  • Atheists laugh at Christians for accepting the bible, yet constantly poke at past actions of religious people. Should all religious people be held accountable by association? Are people in America still being stone, or having genitals choped, etc No none of this. You can't compare the religious in America vs the Atheists these days.

  • @OmegaFujin First, you generalize vastly. Not all atheists "constantly poke at past actions of religious people". In fact atheism doesn't require any such action. The reason it is consistent among the general atheist population to do such is that the common religions EXPLICITELY support the actions, and often are the primary reason the person chose to do the action being poked at.

And the primary reason Americans don't stone others [often enough to consider] is because of secularization.

  • @onijester56 Generalizing shouldn't be discussed since I've hardly ever see or hear an Atheist go out of their way to not generalize Christians. It should be assumed not all, but most, unless I say all. Christian support the bible not actions taken by puritans and other radicals. It's not like there hasn't ever been a non-religious person who hasn't committed deeds just as heinous. People should be held accountable, not religion, Atheist need to learn this instead of playing this blame game.

  • (cont)

"People should be held accountable, not religion," People ARE held accountable. However SO ARE THE SOURCES.

If I plant micro-bombs inside you and force you to kill and steal so that I won't blow you up, then am I not held responsible? If I promise unending happiness if you rape and assault twenty children, am I not held responsible? If I torture you endlessly until you obey my every command, am I not held responsible?

If the source is tradition, isn't tradition responsible? Etc.

  • @OmegaFujin they stand on the ground word laid out by the old and new testament. how is it wrong to compare someone by what they've decided to believe? if you think god is right, and god happens to be a child killer, do you not agree that child killing is right?

  • @OmegaFujin Tell me that again if Christians had the free reign that Islam has over in the Middle East. I can almost guarantee you that if most Christians got what they wanted, we'd have the same barbarism that existed in the past.

  • @Blynx1991 Christian control the country right now, so how is this true? That doesn't make any sense. & Christians don't want destruction or hatred, its the individual. I'm a Christian and I don't want that nor know anyone who does so you argument is weak and bias.

  • @OmegaFujin *You* don't want to nor know anyone who does *therefore* his argument is weak? What kind of an argument is that?

  • @OmegaFujin : No but they do interfere in the lives of many people based on a medieval (at best) morality. See for example: wwwDOTacluDOTorg/files/assets/2010-11-22-bishopletter1.pdf

  • @OmegaFujin No, they're just depriving children of proper education, truth, freedom and sending them to Jesus camps. I'd rather see them stone a few people once a year than fucking up entire generations.

  • Where are the real militant atheists? You know, those guys with knives and guns who kill for not denouncing delusional beliefs, who kidnap theists and demand secular laws as ransom, who storm and burn churches, who wish death and torture upon the believers. You sir, are a decidedly non-militant atheist.

  • Religion is so damn flawed

  • Why indeed.I long for the day when we dance on their god's grave. Now that will be some party.

  • Ironically militant atheists are no different than christian nut jobs.

  • @tyrspride Did you not learn shit from this video, you sir are a moron

  • I love this video I am subing now

  • The dog grabbing your junk @2:55. Clearly there is a god.

  • @MrJamesRWII "The dog grabbing his junk"?? You clearly have fanatsies about bestiality. Seek help.

  • @michiganriverman oh please . . . why don't you ask santa for a sense of humor this solstice.

  • brilliant.

  • I sleep well at night, regardless. You're not as big as you think.

  • If you look at history, no major paradigm shifts happen from quiet dissenters. People like Martin Luther King get things done!

Religion has the USA by the balls & to change it you have to be vocal (at least).

Religion was mankind's 1st attempt at explaining the Universe. Science has shown that they got it all wrong. No wonder the militant Theists fight it so vehemently.

But it's time to move on folks or you'll be left behind. China's already on the horizon in front of you. You're NOT number 1

  • How about the sign at 2:47 "Repent or else turn to Jesus"

    Well done Einstein! LOL

  • I am a devout Evangelical Atheist.

  • @tfzssf240765

    Woooot ? ( WHAAAAT ? )

I know you are joking. I just can't understand the joke. "Evangelical atheist" is self-contradictory. A paradox.

    Explain.

  • 2:13 A Norwegian comedian did! Thomas Gjertsen went knocking on doors and asked if people wanted to hear about atheism. Told heart-grippingly about how he, once Christian, went out to a bar, got drunk, and brought home a female stranger, with whom he slept. And when he woke up the next morning, thought to himself: "Yeah. I'm onto something here..."

    It is somewhere on YT

  • Militant means "willing to use violence". Theists believe reason and logic are weapons of violence rather than tools of truth.

  • @sm2049 Its not that we are just as annoying as theists it's because atheists would improve the living conditions in this planet. What has religion done? Split people even farther. We must deal with the disease of religion and eliminate it. It is my point of view. Down with religion! It impedes the process of scientific advancement. Watch Dawkins, Richard Dawkins: If Science Worked Like Religion. Telling everyone that you are atheist is one small step towards a goal to rid the world of religion.

  • @octavoch

That sort of attitude won't get anything done. "Down with Religion" ? That alone makes you sound like an extremist to the average joe, despite you actually critically thinking that out. In reality, Religion will probably never fully crumble, but it's grasp on people will lessen. More weak minded people still fear the unknown, and will need Religion to feel comfortable and function properly.

  • @TheOtium I know that dont you think i know that of course! Down with religion! is extremist how about I am the son of God! is that not extremist? There are many extremists in christianity and all religions but when atheists say something we are extremists? seriously man? we need to speak out and we will because i will not tolerate to be treated unequally because of what i know is true. Separation of church and state must be enforced by the minority(atheists) I am extreme and i dont care!

  • "My question is, why the hell aren't more of us speaking up?"

It would make them, you, just as obnoxious and poisonous to free thought as the religious zealots. I consider atheism a faith just like any other, you have faith that there isn't, rather than is. You can neither prove nor disprove the existence of any deity or god, yet, you preach that there isn't. Even if you don't begin a conversation preaching, you'll most certainly end with it at the first "thank God!" you hear.

  • What do militant atheists and religious people have in common other than not being able to shut the fuck up? They both are stupid enough to believe that their opposition view is the reason why this world is as fucked up as it is.

  • lol I'm a loud mouthed Atheist too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • As a newly awaken Atheist, I find the more I learn how much of a hoax religion is the more I must speak out to those who would continue to encourage unquestioning blind faith, and tell them to open their eyes and seek answers for themselves. Use some common sense, but all they do is cover their ears and run away. So you can call me a militant Atheist if you like.

  • one of the best videos I have seen on utube,EXCELLENT

  • @mollenth The Quran states NOTHING that Galen himself didn't state at least 400 years BEFORE THE QURAN WAS WRITTEN.

One of Mohammad's friends was one of the leading "Galenists" of the time and it's more than likely that what was written in the Quran was based on Galen's teachings as Mohammad was taught by his friend.

And the icing on the cake: the stages that both the Quran and Galen state are both at best arguable as vaguely interpretable to match modern scientific knowledge.

    :P

  • i hope atheists will go away....and by that i mean i hope religion will go away and people who believe in god will go away because then everyone would have common sense!

  • @Isuckatpaintball2 Wouldn't that render every single person an atheist?

  • @justicetrooper yes but im hoping there will be no need to classify people as atheist because i hope that everyone will find out the truth and there would be no need to even mention religion so there would be no need to mention a lack of religion/god

  • @Isuckatpaintball2 Oh, I get it. It's as if there used to be a classification of people called "anti-pie" Who didn't believe in murder, and then the world accepted the idea that murder was bad, rendering the common view anti-pie. Thus you're either the common view(anti-pie), or a minority view of pro-pie. Yes?

  • the theists didnt make a mess of this world. We are but vessels inhabited and controlled by morphing ideological super organisms. wether it was independent generation or just plain inception by another vessel, you are just at effect to the war of ideas. just as you do atheisms bidding they do theisms bidding. Dont be angry at the people because they can be reprogrammed. you can kung fu the lesser ideas and plant the seed of the tree that grows in your own mind in their minds.

  • stay strong me noodle Matey ! We will save this world

  • Excellent vid! I was in a doctor’s office recently for tests. I needed an IV placed and the staff (about 5 different people) tried, without success. I was very patient and cooperative, though it was painful. A technician who was assisting kept saying, “Help me Jesus”, praying for Jesus to help her get the IV placed. It is not unusual for many Christians to impose their views, no matter what the situation. I told her I was an atheist. She looked stunned. How would you handle a similar situation?

  • @lc237 I would ask her to keep her cult feelings to herself.

  • 2 minutes ago so.... you're a tactless douche with ego issues, feeling compelled to point out the superiority of your obvious position with minds overwhelmingly less than yours because... well, maybe you're just not much use to the real movers in society. Please let us ACTUALLY reasonable people know when this abbrassive, socially self destructive strategy actually works to convince someone worth convincing, so we can save time attempting such SERIOUSLY. Clown

  • i liked this video and this is my comment.

  • Well done.

  • Love this so much - great video

  • You can keep on spouting that "religion is a tool" (if in the context of f*cking things up, then yes, only then is it a "tool"). Religions HAVE justified violence against those of other religions, actual RELIGIONS telling the follower - kill this guy. But you'll still go all PC and say religions are a tool and not evil - well then Nazism is a tool and not evil.

I don't see how a belief system based on undemonstrable supernatural beliefs can be a positive "tool" for society.

  • There is a difference between being non-religious, and being anti-religious. One is alright with peaceful coexistence among people with different faiths (or lack thereof). The other works toward the destruction of religion. The latter being an exercise in bigotry. There is a small but subtle difference between being pro-secular and anti-religious.

  • @Keysteeze The ways in which religions try and force nonsensical pseudoscience into the schools, openly admitting that gays should be shot and walking down our streets preaching for their 10%.

This isn't all that the religious do, but is sufficient cause to want to rid the planet of the thoughts they have. I don't wish any harm on the people, I wish harm to the thought. I want the God delusion destroyed.

  • The school issue should be upheld by seperation of church and state. As for the shooting of gay people, that has to be a very small minority of hateful people. Since religion cannot and should not receive funds from the state they must raise funds somehow. I believe in a secular government. I do not believe that religion is the most poisonous influence in the world. Working toward the destruction of religion is parallel to someone trying to destroy science, Both are mostly used for good.

  • @Keysteeze Both are mostly used for good. Really?

  • Of course. The Tungskee men experiment and Nazi eugenics experiments during WWII are manifestations of the misuse of science. In exactly the same way that the Crusades and 9/11 were the misuse of religion. Religion and science are tools. It is all how one wields them. I would say that in both cases they are mostly used for good. That is why they should be kept around. I would not seek to get rid of knives because sometimes people get stabbed. Since most people just chop vegetables with them.

  • @Keysteeze

I know a lot of good science has done to mankind. Can you name one good thing religion has brought?

  • @jackmcslay Many countless people have had great hope because of their faith. It is quite frankly a sense of hope I do no believe that can be replaced by anything else. The internal inconsistencies and unlikely supernatural claims of any holy text are in no way related to the usefullness of religion.

  • Religion is not required to do good deeds, nor is it required for hope. Religion has often taken credit for the good humanity can do whilst rejecting any of the blame for the bad. Religion offers false hope, distracting us from the only life we KNOW we have by focusing on the afterlife.

Religions quite often condemn independent thought & criticism. When killings & rape are exposed in a "holy" book, the followers make excuses for these atrocities, that it was "acceptable at the time".

  • @TurboDally Religion is not the cause of anything. People do good or evil because it is in their character to do so. Throw in some strong socio-economic forces and these factors are what drive human behavior. Religion is not the cause of good or evil. Religion is something people use to justify their actions.

  • "Religion is a tool like a knife. It is all how one wields it."

Unlike knives, religions have agendas. And not all religions are as peaceful as you may think.

"Religion is something people use to justify their actions."

Just like some ideologies - some religions are pure evil. Religions can make a good person do bad things - even if by nature the person was good.

  • @TurboDally Religion is a tool like a knife. It is all how one wields it. I would not seek to eliminate knives from the world because people sometimes stab each other. I would have to realize that most people take that knife and chop their vegetables with it.

  • You are a tremendous homosexual.

  • well said :) live long and prosper

  • LOVED IT! Thank you! I'm just another militant atheist saying hell yea! Appeasement of religion and neutrality has done nothing.....150 years since Darwin. I wonder if militant atheists started 150 years ago, where we would be. EVERY movement has the dedicated outspoken few that lead the rest of the pack....The more the merrier

  • Ok im sick of looking, how do I favorite a video? I cant find the damend button.

  • one of the best speeches I have ever heard.

  • As far as I can tell, they call us "Militant atheists" so that they can lump us in with Soviet priest-killers. Because writing a book or posting a blog or debating is obviously equivalent to a campaign of mass extermination. Sure.

  • Thank you, good sir Rob, for ye brought a smile to my face... for I, too, answered a similar "calling" -- to urge emancipation from the mind-numbing shackles of religion.

    It's lonely here in Nashville...

As with all such endeavours, a radical vanguard is ALWAYS needed to make the greater cause more palatable to the masses.

Keep up the great work and may gods be damned!

  • @MacLeamh

    No problem.

  • Militant Christians kill abortion doctors.

Militant atheists just won't sit quietly and appease the theists.

  • This is not militant atheism fucking tool

  • Then what is

  • @taliesinknol using violence to promote your ideology...just a shot in the dark though.

  • Yes, and atheists don't do that.

The term "militant atheist" was not coined by atheists, but by offended theists. You'll agree that they tend to overreact, right?

  • Hell yeah! Speak up, militant atheism for the win.

  • Its strange that people who call themselves religious are the same people who celebrate Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny or on the other end use suicide bombers to kill innocent woman and children.

    z 5/5

  • To be a "militant" atheist all one has to do is not believe in invisible friends and not be afraid to talk about it.

  • Perhaps a little less arrogance would go a long way. You are obviously upset by the title, or you wouldn't have made this vid.

  • In order to be called a militant atheist, all you have to do is write a book or have a blog. If you're religious and you want people to call you militant, you have to blow stuff up and shoot people. ~ Martin Wagner

  • @TurboDally true :)

  • Extremely well said.

  • cool story bro

  • Great video! I'm totally with you on this. I get called "obsessive" and "overdoing it" when I try to have an honest conversation with someone about an important social issue. It's getting old, way too fast.

Also, stinkittodaman, miniontemple, etc.: circumcision lowers the transmission rate of AIDS, and the rate of other skin etc. infections.

  • Brilliant, accurate and truthful information here. Thanks for the video. Helps with visualizing the issue at hand.

  • AfuckingMen brother I'll be right behind you when you jump into the fray.

  • @stinkittodaman

Just to clear this up, I think everyone here is under the misconception that I am a theist, i'm not.

There are medical benefits to circumcision, but arguments can be made for both sides. It's a simple removal of excess skin.

Aside from that, most of the ladies I have been with have said uncircumcised penises are discusting. I am definately happy my parents had me circumcised.

  • Very well done.

  • Im a militant atheist to because killing one person in the name of a god is to many.

  • Why is circumcision so frowned upon by atheists? I guarantee if I have a boy, he will be circumcised.

  • i got snipped i am an atheist, ill snip my kids too haha

  • @LacedChucks You're a fucking idiot, sex doesn't feel good once you mutilate your dick

  • haha are u fucking stupid? i fuck bitches all the time im snipper it feels pretty fucking good to me. how the Fuck would you know lol faggit

  • Comment removed

  • i dont have a brain hahaha? wow i dont even know what to say to you lol. how on earth would you have a clue about which feels better LOL. you must be fuckin some nassty bitches, every girl i talk to says they think uncircumcised dick is fuckin sick. Your a fuckin goof, get your foreskin outta here haha

  • @miniontemple Because sex doesn't feel good once you mutilate your dick.

  • Well said. I agree with you and I can get downright saucy myself when confronted with an ignorant fundementalist. I do however dislike the term atheist from the start. I don't like being labeled as A(against) anything. I prefer humanist because I am FOR humanity and I picked the moniker myself, not some backward-ass religious nutcase.

  • Every single Saturday I get Christians at my door passing out pamphlets and inviting me to their church on Sunday. They have done this every Saturday for 15 YEARS!!!!! Assholes!!!!!

  • @Johnathan,

I used to have the same problem until I got fed up. I kept telling these people that I was an Atheist but they wouldnt just go away and not come back. They always had to ry and I always had to go thru the entire speech. One day the same group came to our door. I was in the middle of something important like playing a game on my pc. The interuption pissed me off so I go to my closet and get this old painting of JC that my wife had for years. I open the door and throw it out in the

  • @Johnathan,continued

yard. I then tell them to get the fuck off my porch and to take that trash with them........Its been 10 or 11 years now and I havent had any return visits...

  • you are... god if he existed

  • You're a light unto the nations :)

  • Thank you for you words! I am a militant Atheist as well. But I must admit I am not welcome in most Christian circles. It is hard to work fearing reprisal. I speak out whenever I can.

    The truth set me free.

  • Very well put. Thank you.

  • Can I have the transcript of this video please???

  • I want that as well.... where can I download it?

  • The United States is a religious nutjob of a nation as it is (thank goodness for Obama).

Secularization is important because if nuclear weapons get into the hands of homophobic, mysogynist, anti-science, close-minded whackjobs like Sarah Palin, order and humanity will be at stake.

Theists (christians, muslims, etc.) can't even settle it amongst themselves. They see eaxh other as evil. How the fuck can they properly govern with peace?

    They're hypocrites.

  • edit:

    ... each ...

  • Although I relate strongly w/ your convictions and veracity, I also strongly feel that the religious are brainwashed in a very real sense and I wish we could get some of our more intellectual fellows to start figuring out a way to deprogram these poor folks! I refrain from confronting them on thier religion only because I know that it is futile and they have a slight defect that's been programed into them. I think WE are intelligent enough to find a way to fix this problem called religion!

  • Beautfil monologue. Grats.

  • WELL SAID!

we all gotta stand up for our rights!

  • Fantastic video. We need more people on the front line in this war of ideas.

  • The Theists have made a mess of this world.

Now our day is rising like the sun to blot out Theist mythology.

    Ebal the Atheist

  • @ebaltrace You're just like everybody else.

  • It'd be far more effective if non-militant theists spoke out against militaint theists. If we despise the militancy in militant christianity and militant islam we should oppose that. You don't fight militancy with militancy. You fight militancy with appeal for moderation from the own group, not the opposing one.

  • Good explanation of why you are a militant atheist. I think that we need more militant atheists in the world considering the militant Christians and Muslims spreading the darkness and ignorance of their superstitions.

  • Well done!

  • Science is based on tested proof or empirical evidence. U conduct a test or experiment & then observe the results. Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism, similarly, teaches that nothing beats actual proof. You're chanting 4 your life & the life of everything around u...

Showing such proof is the mark of a true successor.

"The world is a dangerous place 2 live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it" Albert Einstein.

  • im an Atheist but most atheist are cowards

  • Imagine where these so called "cowards" live. Some live in the bible belt, some have children. My family are fundamental christians and I'm gay so you can imagine what our lives are like.

  • Lol! You're about as a scary as a cloudy day to a real Christian. I find that more militant and belligerent someone is the easier it is to dismantle the argument.

Might want to keep this in mind - show composure and emotional detachment and you will gain respect for your beliefs. Anything more, will only set you up for people like me to pound you into the ground intellectually.

  • Try it. You believe in the shit of psychotic assholes. What, exactly, can you have "intellectually"? That would be nothing, twat. Give anyone, anywhere, even one quark of evidence for the shit you spew. You can't, so you just spew more. And so, I call your shitty little bluff. You are no intellectual, you are merely an idiot. In the past, you would simply kill me for pointing that fact out. That, you twat, is the REAL xian way. How's *that* for "intellect"?
