  • beautiful and sad to see R.I.P George

  • For those of you unaware, George passed on a few weeks ago alone in his store at the age of 82. He lived life on his own terms and died the same way, surrounded by his lifes work in his store. I was priviledged to have known him and had fished with him for many years before his health began to decline. He was a good man and a legend in the Mile End district. R.I.P. George.

  • I knocked on his door once. After a minute or two I was about to leave and he came to the door. Really cool guy, almost bought his "turbo-spin" but didn't have the funds. I mgiht stop by with a few brews one day.
