  • BOEING 737'S ARE F***ING AWESOME

  • Great video. Flew on AirTran a couple of years ago from Milwaukee to Vegas. Although the 737's seating is tight, for max revenue, they're like the "sports car" of commercial airliners. It was the first time I flew in almost 20 years and I don't remember ever banking, like in your video, after takeoff. Our flight was the same way. We took off south to north and then immediately banked hard left to a western heading. Again...great video!

  • Awesome Video And Great Engine Sound!! Thumbs Up!!

  • what the hell? that sounds like a 717, i was on a 737 airtran 4 times and it never sounded like that

  • @airtran52 - interesting. I love the 717 sound, and I am flying on a 737 from Milwaukee to Orlando in august, so I hope it sounds like this. I rarely do hear this in any airtran 737 video I see online too.

  • @airtran52 You generally need to sit ahead of the engines to hear this sound on a 737. The 717 is great because it has sch a unique sound and it can be heard from anywhere in the cabin.

  • Do they do the late throttle-up on all flights now? Or does it vary. Just curious because I've seen both this and the standard full-throttle takeoff in different vids.

  • @videoproducer100 It depends on a lot of factors but 9 times out of 10, the power will be reduced for takeoff.

  • @blakman7 Thanks for answering, I was kinda confused on that.

  • @blakman7 I remeber the power lowering after takeoff

  • You climbed pretty rapidly after the throttle up!

  • Sorry I meant what seat was that

  • What is that

  • No manual throttle. Still AT, with Flex Power takeoff. Reduced noise on the ground, reduced engine wear, reduced fuel consumption. The power increase after airborne gives a more efficient second segment climb, and climb to cruise.

  • @Profiledescent Spot on

  • Thats a great video. I was a First Officer with Airtran on a 737-700 from PHF-ATL and more. Very good shot of the fort there near Logan. I have flown into Logan many of times and never had time to video. Now I work with Southwest, so different routes for me now. Same aircraft.

  • very nice!

  • what seat numero??

  • At 2:24 looks like he didn't have enough thrust

  • @aeroplano111 I just found out that Airtran takes off on auto throttle and after they pass 1000 feet AGL the go to manuel throttle. Its there policy

  • great video!!

  • Question....if boston have heavy rain wont the runways flood???

PS ive never been to boston

  • Hey did you hear that KBOS is getting some new sercuriy thing? It shows your WHOLE body to see if you have anything you're not supposed to! Nice video!

  • What kind of video camera do you use?

And how do you not get caught?

  • 4 thumbs up... Also I notice at the end of the video... U can see a aircraft taking off.. Its a white dot!

  • Very nice! 2:19 :D

  • Awesome climb, congratulations for this awesome video.

  • Only flew in and out of Boston once, and no matter the weather, you get great views, in my opinion. Great video! Gotta love the AT 737's.
