Nice work mate and the good news is the parts are not that over priced to pic up and well cheeper than a 8 port and better and cheeper than a KAD 16V twin cam head So whot sizw is the bottom end ?? 1380 ?
Thanks & yes they`re way cheaper than a lot of other options, this one is a 1360cc, i have quite a few more twinky donks on the go all in various sizes.
Good on you man, I have done a similar thing modifying a twin cam head to fit a sohc honda engine and faced all the opinions of heters too. Good on you for getting it all together! It looks and sounds choice.
Hey all , thanks for the nice comments, & yeah that video was from years ago & the engine has been in my cooper S & driven around for about a year & is just wonderfull. We are making kits up 4 sale at the moment
To all those sending praise to me for this, i thank you very much. to the other fella who thinks he knows everything, all i can say is-> where is your Turbo injected Bimmer Twinky? Jealousy is a curse mate.
Hey dude, have you seen the latest from this guy, LMFAO. There be more of these engines in the next couple of weeks, he he, oh! Yes! Keep up the good work buddy
These backyard hicks are dreaming if they think there the first to bolt a BMW head on a A series, These conversions have been going on for years, not very diffucult, as you can tell you don't need much of an IQ to do it!
Then you`d know that i built this years ago & is the very first "16v injected big bore" version to be produced in Australia & Greg Temkins was the very first "8v small bore" in the world. obviously you know my sense of humour & you`d know that our family mini business was one of the biggest mini shops in Australia, Oh, you didn`t know. Bagging out people on the net is making you sound very smart.
is that bmw k1 or the k1100?
