Please stop degenerating Buddhism w/ the spirit worshiip. If worshiping spirit is more important than profound teachings of Buddha then you should call yourself spirit worshiper rather than a buddhism.

I know four people who have gone to the New Kadampa Tradition and left, they had been physically, sexually and financially abused. They are claiming to teach Buddhism, but they instead teach only a spirit worship. Buddhism is a rich philosophical system, defined by the teachings of the Sutras and the discipline of the Vinaya, the monastic code. If these centers are claiming to be Buddhists, but do not follow the Sutras and Vinaya, then they are 1.Not Buddhist and 2.Exploiting people.

In the 90s there were acts of violence against Shugden practitioners, they were all mistaken in their understanding of what His Holiness was teaching, they have since stopped and it is no longer a problem.
