I've always been curious about how she felt working with "The Artist". I know she says here that he was cool to work with, but she was pretty young here (the same age as me!) and maybe she didn't want to piss the studio off...

not that I'm a P hater (I love his 80's period), but he always comes across as someone who is difficult to hang around with.

Kristin looks very cute and inocent here, but is sexy in a more sophisticated, mature way nowdays... Can't believe she's 49 today!

Stephen Berkoff said he found Prince (on the same film) to treat directing as if it were the same process as making a record, he found Prince was a perfectionist but in Stephen's opinion (then) it could be beneficial to the film making process to have more freedom in the acting, and not think everything had to be absolutely perfect. I also remember him saying when Prince wasn't directing he'd play piano and each song was more impressive than the last.

Common! this is amazing! She looks so innocent. It was like all the doors where opening up for her, well, they actually did.

But it's incredible. She was so hopeful.

Right now... I feel horrible. Usually the nominees for the golden globes are nominated for an Oscar, They nominated all of them except por Kristin! Horrible! She deserves it, as well as the one for The English Patient.

I agree, I think it is unforgivable she was not nominated for the Oscar. Although I like Kate Winslet very much, it was truly unfair to give her both nomination in the best actress category while she was running for the Golden Globe with the same part (The Reader) in the supporting actress category. Kristin should have been nominated, she would have been the greatest threat to Kate, in my opinion. Brilliant job in "I"ve loved you so long".

This is wicked to see!! How young she looks, and with a much more pronounced "upper class English" accent than ever there, it's slightly toned down now, and her voice slower and deeper, and more alluring!

I ADORE Kristin! And it's outrageous she hasn't been Oscar nominated for I've Loved You So Long, scandalous in fact. Shows the whole thing's generally a farce anyway....
