The houle time on the table he kept pitching lines from evil dead he even had the same outfit from the movie I even played the audio from the movie hoping he would turn into a demon but the only thing he did was shoot the turkey it was cool

Army of Darkness is great because it doesn't need to be part of the Evil Dead trilogy. It stands on it's own, and it's an awesome film.

evil dead 1 & 2 are the best. both are like evil dead 1, since evil dead 2 is more of a remake with comedy put into it. and army of darkness wuz just hilarious. this shit will never get old. ever since I wuz 6 years old I've been watching these and remember in 1992-1993 somewhere there, when 3rd one wuz released saw it at the cinema atleast I got a chance to see 1 of em there :)

@doogiebombom, In my opinion the first Evil Dead is the one that doesn't "belong" with the other two movies. The first ED is more like a dress rehearsal for ED2. ED2 has more of the slapstick and comic book posteuring that the series is most known for. (Actually, I think "Army" made things a little too cartoony. At least in ED2, there was a legitimate horror feel so you felt a real sense of "evil" and danger. "Army" was practically a Bill & Ted movie.)

Idiots made him change it to the S-Mart store ending.

@imperialpod, I have to say, the ending to Army of Darkness is one case where the studio was right. The S-Mart ending was awesome and gave us the iconic line "Hail to the King." The original ending felt kind of like a rip-off. It's interesting to see, but I'd rather see Ash kick ass in a department store than waking up with a Rip Van Winkle beard.
