Don't be to hard on Chatham, it is after all your home if you live there. I did for 25 years and can confidently say that I enjoyed every day. It has great historical connections and many interesting places to visit. The chavs are generally ok and I have met alot worse around the country and world. Look after your home and make it want you want it to be, it will be your history one day, make it an enjoyable one!
