I absolutely love Tosca. Especially the execution scene.

And by the way, the contract killing in that scene may have been influenced by some gangster movie I saw some months ago, - there the assassin found a hiding spot on a balcony and sniped the actor, who portrayed Mario Cavaradossi (the executioned one), right when the other actor fired his prop gun. It instantly reminded me of the Paris Opera mission.

An ironic thing about the execution scene is, in the opera it is supposed to be a fake death, but it's real And there's some mafia movie I once saw, and a hitman kills his victim, tied to the post, at the exactly same time the character is shot XD
