New study proves EMR-CCD link!

It found a causal & replicatable effect: Putting mobile phones (GSM) at a bee hive, after half an hour of EMR exposure, the HF radiation causes the worker bees to start "worker piping", a high-frequency buzzing which signals to prepare for abandoning the hive -- the typical CCD behavior. After turning off the mobile phones, the bees stop piping within 3 minutes.

Ow yeah and for the smart guys that think, hey but GSM and DECT are on 900 and 1800 MHz? Yes that's true but if you know a little more about GSM and DECT you know I talk about the puls frequencies of the signal which is causing most biological effects.

What you hear first that low buzzing that looks like an AC adapter going on and off is DECT.

European AC Power = 50Hz and DECT = 100 Hz that's why it sounds alike and it sounds going on and off all the time is the switching between the two antenna's inside the DECT basestation which is aprox. 4 Hz and is even more harmfull!

The high frequency of 1733 Hz with 217 Hz buzzing is a GSM Cellphone tower with traffic and maybe you also hear the cellphone that is communicating with it (only 217 Hz)

Bee's are dying because beekeepers keep bees in conditions that are convenient for man and inconvenient for bees. Ever since the Langstroth hive was invented new bee diseases have popped up. CCD - comes from idiots keeping bees in what amounts to a wine case.

CCD is the result of pathogens coming into the USA from NZ and Australia. Just like when the Spainards gave measles and other European diseases to the native americans - there was no natural immunity and we lost most bees. The WTO and US Import laws were relaxed in 2004 due to lobbying from Calf. Almond growers who need more bees. Greed and stupidity was the cause, not cell phones and other wacko ideas.

This hive is in Switzerland, not USA. Other hives in the area are not affected, there's no DECT near them. How do you explain that with pathogens from NZ and Oz?

I'm afraid your "findings" are not even correct for USA. After US bees died of CCD, USA imported new ones from Oz, and they died too in USA. So the cause of CCD must be there, not a "pathogen from Oz"! It's the electromagnetic radiation (also from US military wireless).

Honey bees are natural indicators of environmental dangers because of their extreme sensitivity to toxins. Over the last 5 or 6 years NATO & US Air Force jets have been criss-crossing the country doing mass chemical spraying (that resembles water vapor contrails). Initially over California & Florida and other farming states. These chemicals contain various heavy metal poisons as well as (documented) bacterial agents. We've had cell phones a lot longer than we've had CCD. This is one of the few things that has absolutely been ruled out.

I don't think we can afford to leave any stone unturned on this one. There is obviously a cause of ccd and we need to find out quickly. This challenge should be welcomed and proven or disproven scientifically.

There have been mysterious colony collapses going back to the 1800's.  It is very likely that there is some cause besides EMT interference. The university that has been attributed with the research linking cellphones and CCD has already disavowed the story.

This kind of colony collapse (i.e. adult bees leaving the hive) is NEW. Of course there have been diseases, mites etc. before, but that's different. And which cellphones are you talking about? I'm talking about DECT phones, which are connected to landline. Also, the military EMR is different from cellphones. Please get your facts straight before posting nonsense.

Please check your facts. Many bee researchers are in fact questioning the validity of CCD. They attribute it to similar die-offs going back to at least 1890. Also, DECT phones (i.e. cordless phones) are used quite heavily in suburban areas... yet beekeeper hobbyists who frequent these areas have reported few incidents of CCD.

Where are all those suburban beekeepers without CCD? Large parts of USA have lost most bees... Forget 1890, now it's different. Which researchers do you mean? I've measured more CCD hives in my area and they all have DECT or WLAN nearby. Very aggressive 24/7-signals. Note that WLAN is heavy in USA, also e.g. on camping sites and whole towns.

Could electromagnetic radiation be a cause of Colony Collapse Disorder? I checked this at a bee-hive affected by CCD and indeed, there was EMR from a DECT wireless phone coming from a factory nearby (seen on the left ahead). Note that DECT phones are a recent trend and have become wide-spread only in the last 1-3 years, which is when CCD first appeared in my region. So I'd suggest you folks measure electromagnetic radiation at bee-hives near you. Maybe we can find a correlation with CCD.
