I love it: if Mitch McConnell was my arch nemesis I know I'd sleep better at night; a world in which John Boehner is a 'hunk' would be one entirely populated by Gretchin Carlson and Steve "It's the space place!" Doocy; Sarah Palin (leaving aside for the moment that of course, not holding any office means she would not be attending any summits any time soon) as a 'wildcard' - so 'wild' that she can't end a sentence without forgetting how she started it.
This, coming from a stupid bitch that says her job is just like the president's, and the dipshit on the right who asked, "what was that robot thinking?"
Of course, John Boehner was watching. He needed to learn what talking points he was supposed to use in lieu of facts at the summit and Fox is the steady supply of those talking points for GOP goons in the know.
Hey guys. No matter your political views, we all hate this health care bill. Liberals hate it because it doesn't have Public Option. Libertarians hate it because it got the mandate and it doesn't allow competition across state lines. Conservatives hate it because it doesn't have Tort reform. So Lets Kill This Fucking Bill. Call your congressman and tell him to vote no. Kill the Bill!
Anyone else notice that when somebody does a parody of a Conservative, it's actually funny, yet when a Conservative does a "parody" of somebody else it's downright insulting to everybody watching?
Fix and Fools are at it-again. They are three of the biggest failures in life. They cant tell or say anything positive about the President because it is their job that comes from the top and they hate anything that Obama does. Is it time that we tell these fucking assclowns to get a clue and shut the hell up.
Every time I watch Fox News for any length of time and consider that there are a lot of people who watch and regard it as a source of information, I get the creeping feeling that I kind of "got it on me," like I need to fill my bathtub with books and soak for a while.
As if stupidity can stick to you and make you itch or something.
You've completely missed the point. It was Obama and the Democrats who sold out to the health insurance lobby. If Obama had had the ability, he could have announced from day one that he was going to install a single payer system to cover all Americans and eliminate these for profit overchargers. But he failed. He handed the job of health care reform over the thieves of the US Congress and sat on the sidelines. So all in all it looks like Obama did wonders for the health insurance firms.
Whether you are for or against President Obama, I wonder if anyone believes that sarah palin could have pulled this meeting off? i didn't see a teleprompter and he actually answered questions.
why is Palin on tha clip?? she is just a fox news analyst. this brings me back to when fox used to air all the anti-obama ads from from the mccain camp for free lol, they used to show them like 4 times a day , i remember "did u see the new mccain ad attacking obama?? here it goes " hahahahah fox , fox , fox
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
why dont we all just pay in like our master says to do. We voted him in for change now we should follow his lead. Whats th hold up. If he wnts it he shall have it. Hail the almighty Obama.!
@Yolandra101.......you nailed it....perfect....the best analogy i've read about this goofball morning show...made my morning....thanks.....i'll be "chuckling" to myself......all day........... :)
part of me is laughing at the roles clusterfox has given, the other part thinks turning the summit (which was a good idea MONTHS AGO) into a soap opera is disgusting to families going through these struggles daily.
And what's really disgusting is how Obama sold out single payer to the health insurance lobby. Obama's incompetence and inexperience is what's hurting American workers and their families.
palin was not invited and she is not a law maker as she holds no office and is totally irrelevant, but fox pictures her in this clip and says "those are some of the players"
I'm so glad these people are so trite about a serious issue such as health care. They should be ashamed of themselves, but since they do work for FOX, the probably don't give a shit about the rest of Americans who don't exist on their privileged plane of existence.
Obama flew a renowned pizza chef in from Chicago to cook for him at the White House. Isn't that a privileged plane of existence? Courtesy of working Americans, of course.
You are a true moron. The chef was going to DC on his own. He did not make a special trip to make Obama a pizza. He was already there. Stop believing everything you read.
Obama flew a pizza chef in from St Louis according to the Huffington Post so he could cook pizzas for a White House banquet for Obama and his guests. Now what kind of carbon footprint do those pizzas have? How much global warming will be caused by this move by the elitist Obama? And Obama's kitchen staff can't make pizzas for his guests? You don't even recognize elitism when it's staring you right in the face! God, you're a dork!
Perhaps Obama should focus more on putting America back to work and less on partying by bringing pizza chefs into the White House to make pizzas for his cronies. So far he's a mediocre President and right now with the troubles America has we need much better.
You are completely missing the point you fucking moron. He didn't fly a pizza chef in from St. Louis. The guy was already there. What you aer talking about DID NOT HAPPEN.
What's all this "elitism" bullshit about anyways. I would rather have the elite running this country than a bunch of brain dead idiots like Bush or Palin.
This elitism "bullshit" is about Michelle Obama's full time hair stylist. Guess who pays for that? Right. The same people who paid for Hussein Obama's 850 mile pizza run. You know, I wouldn't mind these two impersonating Marie Antoinette at all if hundreds of thousands of Americans weren't losing their jobs and or their homes. That is, if Obama was doing his job. For instance, Clinton's affair with Monica didn't bother me. As it is, Miss Dork, you are defending the indefensible.
American presidents have always enjoyed a pretty high standard of living. Obama made millions from his two books. And Michelle had a very well-paying career in the hospital management field, before Obama won the election.
Your "elitist" complaints are extremely weak. Did you just suddenly awake to this issue when a Black man won his seat in the oval office? Should we make them sleep in the slave quarters out back? What a racist asshole you are.
There's the race card. Totally shows the weakness of your arguments. Of course the Obamas are elitists. Graduates of first class Ivy League institutions including Harvard Law School with a little help from affirmative action which is a racist quota system. If I object to Obama's taxpayer funded 850 mile pizza run or Michelle's taxpayer funded full time hair stylist, that makes me a racist? Boy, are you digging deep into the bullshit supply today (or in your case, the diarrhea supply).
No. What makes you a racist, is the FACT that you attack Obama for doing what every white president has done. What other reason would account for this kind of double standard?
If it is not racism, then what is it about Obama that makes you hold him to a higher standard than ANY OTHER PRESIDENT ON HISTORY?
Give it a rest. I really don't care if you think I'm a racist. I don't hold Hussein Obama to a different standard than any other President. I don't happen to think just because a man is President that taxpayers should pay for a full time hair stylist for his wife or for his 850 mile pizza runs. The fact that you don't have a problem with it shows your mental disorder is much worse than racism.
You do IN POINT OF FACT hold Obama to a higher standard than every other president who came before him.
Most racists dont care what non-racists think. So in that you stand with every KKK member who has ever donned a bed sheet.
Do you know for a fact that Michelle doesnt pay her hairdresser out of her own personal wealth? Or are you now going to begrudge her hard work, and financial success too? You cant stand it when Black people make more money than you, can you?
Right on Glasy. This guy is a sad pathetic hayseed, who votes against the interests of his own family members, because he cant stand it that a Black man is president of the United States.
And Goldman Sachs laughs as it squeezes him for his last dime, while he defends the GOP!!! What poor suckers these "conservative" racist hicks are --ruled by their fears and prejudices.
Goldman Sachs? Obama's number one campaign contributor? Right. Obama's number one campaign contributor--the main beneficiary of Obama's pro Wall Street anti Main Street big bank bail out--is squeezing me for my last dime. And you're still defending Hussein Obama. Well, you're big on defending elitist corruption, so this does not surprise me.
The Goldman Sachs, AIG, Citigroup bubble/crash/bailout HAPPENED DURING THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION, AND WAS CAUSED BY REPUBLICAN ANTI-REGULATORY, PRO WALL STREET CRIME POLICIES. There is no question about this FACT.
Granted, nothing has been done to change this CRIME FRIENDLY environment YET. It still remains to be seen whether the LEFT LEANING Democrats will be able to OUTLAW this on-going criminal rip-off. They certainly are getting NO HELP FROM REPUBLICANS IN THIS EFFORT.
WOW! Such intolerance! I should file an EEOC complaint with Obama. What happened to your liberal compassion and concern for the downtrodden? I just got a parking ticket, you know. Thanks for your Stalinist thuggish brutality. Your extreme insensitivity reminds all of us of the true face of Obama Stalinism which is usually hidden by Obama Maoist propaganda. I appreciate your honesty. Obama BTW is a failure.
Is that your defense of Hussein Obama? That he is better than Bush? You know, flying in a pizza chef from St Louis so Obama and his crony buddies can have pizza all courtesy of the US Taxpayers--that sounds like something Bush would have done. All done while hundreds of thousands are losing their jobs and going into foreclosure on their homes. But that's OK with you because Obama's better than Bush. When did our standards for public officials sink so low that we accept this kind of crap?
>> "Republicans HAVE NEVER DELIVERED SMALLER GOVERNMENT, OR A LOWER NATIONAL DEBT. That is a fact. Why do we listen to them at all?"
I love hearing republicans talking about "generation theft", as if they had nothing to do with the debt that we have been building up for about 30 years.
Republicans lie like diarrhea, and they just dont give a fuck, because the NASCAR watching right-wing pawns who vote for them have a stronger fear of Black people, than love for their own families.
The 2 trillion dollar oil wars and the Wall Street collapse continue under Hussein Obama. Instead of withdrawing our troops from Iraq as promised, Obama plans to keep at least 50,000 US troops in Iraq indefinitely. He lied. The Obama health care reform is a debacle benefiting only the health insurance firms, trial lawyers, hospitals and drug companies. His jobs creation flop only so far has benefited big Wall Street banks. You have a lot of balls talking about fiscal responsibility.
Obama inherited a mess. Many Iraqis have stood with America, in this debacle. Obama feels some obligation to protect them from utter annihilation. Obama has a conscience, apparently. Unlike Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld. You know this. You just like to lie like diarrhea foaming Republicans, because you think its cool to try to win a political argument.
Obama would have a much better health care plan, if not for "conservatives.". But this one is better than nothing -- what you got from Republicans.
America has been fighting in the Iraq area and in Iraq itself for at least 30 years. It's about control over Middle Eastern oil and Obama is staying in Iraq because of oil and not because of his alleged conscience or his desire to protect Iraqis. So you're the one spewing the diarrhea. As far as health care, Obama had a veto proof majority in the Senate and control of the House and couldn't get it done. It's about weak leadership and you know it. You blaming the GOP is just more diarrhea.
You do not know Obama's motivations. RACIST ASSHOLE.
Trying to attack Obama for being a violent oil monger -- while defending the GOP, is too laughable to refute.
I said "conservatives" weakened this health care bill -- Democrats and Republicans. All "conservatives" are wholly owned subsidiaries of pharma and health insurance companies. I dont defend "conservatives" whatever party they are in. They are all diarrhea spewing assholes like you.
Once the race card is pulled out it's clear--you Marxist elitists are out of gas. Obama lied when he promised to withdraw American troops from Iraq. His Wall Street & Oil Company bosses won't allow it. Our troops will be there permanently for the oil. Obama himself protected the drug companies, the trial lawyers and the insurance companies. Then he said it was because of the conservatives that he couldn't get it done. Some saps apparently believe him.
It remains to be seen whether our troops will stay in Iraq permanently, as you say. As yet, that is pure speculation -- NOT FACT. And the rest of your rant is pure conjecture, and projection of your own fears about his motives -- NOT FACT.
Obama is trying to deal with big business, and their puppets in the Senate that he has to deal with to get things done. But that may end soon. Hope so.
Nope my arguments are stronger than yours, AND you are a racist.
Our troops are surrounding our primary enemy in the region which is Iran. We have hundreds of billions of dollars of military assets in Iraq, Afghanistan, in the former Soviet Central Asian countries and in the seas and oceans off Iran. Your thinking that Obama has much influence over events concerning world oil supplies shows your naivete. You're another brainwashed progressive suckered by the Obama cult. You need an intervention.
I know that Obama, as the elected president of the United States has sworn to defend the interests of the United States. I see investment in alternative energy, and a huge draw-down of troops from Iraq. So your paranoia, and internet-gleaned understanding of the situation shed zero light on the issues at hand.
I know that Bush/Cheney fell directly into the trap Osama Bin Laden laid for them, and fulfilled his wildest dreams of American stupidity.
Your argument boils down to because I don't accept Obama's elitist corruption that I'm a racist. Of course the flip side is you're all for elitist corruption when black people are the beneficiaries. So the disagreement here isn't about race at all. It's about elitist corruption--about 850 mile taxpayer paid pizza runs and taxpayer paid full time hair stylists for the wives of the powerful. I'm opposed to elitist corruption in all circumstances and you support elitist corruption sometimes.
No. My argument is that your definition of "corruption" is a definition that would apply to EVERY AMERICAN PRESIDENT.
The fact that you are suddenly concerned about expensive white house dinners, and hair stylists (which every First Lady has had, and for all you know might be paid for by Michelle Obama herself, out of her own personal wealth,) REVEALS that you hold the Obama's to a DOUBLE STANDARD. Why do you do this? It must be racism. You have given no other explanation.
Wrong. I am opposed to even the concept of a First Lady whether it's Nancy Reagan spending millions to "update" the White House china or Jackie Kennedy redecorating the White House. Because someone is the spouse of the President is no reason for her to have an office with assistants and full time hairdressers. Sorry. Speaking of not giving explanations, you've yet to successfully defend your support for Obama's elitism. Is elitism OK with you as long as the elitist is African American?
So if the President of the United States ate more 99 cent hamburgers and Pringles (only when on sale of course,) you would be happy?
And you're saying you're NOT racist? Its the suspicion that he might have been overly influenced by his Muslim father that bothers you? He probably picked up some radical jihadist tendencies? Is that it? Or is it that you are a "Christian" and you've been taught by your racist Pastor that ALL Muslims are of Satan?
elect -- How much does a first class plane ticket from St Louis to Washington cost? $500? (This is assuming ANY OF THIS actually happened, or that Obama didnt pay for it himself, out of his own personal wealth -- I'm GIVING YOU THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.)
This is "elitist corruption?"
I ask you to rate your own complaint, on a scale of 1 to 10. Just how petty is this issue?
So why would you waste so much time on this? Racism? Silly Right-Wing ideology? Or both?
With millions out of work, I don't want the President spending even one thin dime of taxpayers funds flying in pizza from St Louis for Obama's elitist ego gratification. None of this elitist corruption is petty. Because when some city councilman in the sticks sees Obama's extravagant partying, he says, "hey, if the big guy is doing it, I can and should also do it!" No wonder our state and local governments are all going bankrupt. Look at the example Obama is setting at the top.
And you raved on about this "elitism" all through the Bush administration, of course?
No?
Its a new thing with you, isnt it? Since around, uumm, Jan 20, 2009? Face it dude. You are a racist. And you also fear people who follow a different religion than you do.
But please dont stop with your "rebuttals." I havent had a good laugh like this for a good while.
To you anyone who opposes African American elitists or African American elitist politicians who engage in corrupt govt spending are racists. Your own racism blinds you to Obama's inadequacies as President because you're so enthralled with having an African American President that you're good with elitism and corruption. So this helps explain why this country is in so much trouble. Large segments of the population are influenced by the mentally disordered Obama Cult.
Dude. Get yourself elected President of the United States. Then nobody will begrudge you a pizza. And you can fly in anyone you want from anywhere in the country to cook it for you.
And you can make all the Black people live in the ghettos where they belong, and eat Burger King, including the Obamas.
Hasnt it occurred to you that you do not have ANY LEGITIMATE COMPLAINTS with the Obama administration? So you have to resort to these silly, but humorous issues. But please dont stop!!!
Legitimate complaints? My complaint about Obama's pro Wall Street anti Main Street big bank bailouts which benefited Goldman Sachs his biggest campaign contributor and has failed to stop increasing unemployment as promised is NOT legitimate? Dude, you really are drinking the Kool Aid of the Obama Cult. Try pretending Obama is white and ask yourself if you'd still support his Wall Street bailouts.
Just copied and pasted my previous answer to this false attack. Thanks for making it so easy for me.
It still remains to be seen whether the LEFT LEANING Democrats will be able to OUTLAW this on-going criminal rip-off. They certainly are getting NO HELP FROM REPUBLICANS IN THIS EFFORT
Find the graph of unemployment claims from 2007, to the present.
Under Bush, starting in 2006, but it really got rolling in 2007, unemployment rose at a RADICAL PACE until Feb of 2009. Under Obama, unemployment claims have been steadily DECREASING.
The graph shows employment numbers as follows: Under Bush -- down down down. Under Obama -- up up up.
Your claim that Obama's policies have "failed to increase unemployment" are just plain false. Republican diarrhea lying again.
Obama's pro Wall Street anti Main Street bailouts have failed to get America's historic jobs creation engine up and running. Nothing he has done has worked. Unemployment is rising and no jobs creation is in sight. Does the fact that the current recession began under Bush excuse Obama's abject failure to address unemployment successfully?
This shows ACCORDING TO THE FACTS, that Obamas policies HAVE NOT FAILED.
Bush's recession was in freefall when Obama took office. IN ONE YEAR Obama has halted the job losses. Seems fair enough to me to see if the next couple of years will bring more job gains. OBAMA'S POLICIES HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN HALTING JOB LOSS.
Republican policies caused the problem. Progressive Democrat policies ARE FIXING IT.
Nobody knows whether the tremendous jobs losses are over. So it's not clear what the effects of "progressive" Democratic policies are. Unemployment right now is 3 full percentage points above Bush levels at its worst. That is a fact. We do know that Obama's bank bail outs benefited big bank executives who received huge taxpayer funded bonuses thanks to Obama. I suppose it's racist or Islamophobic to oppose Obama's big bank executives' taxpayer financed bonuses?
Actually, anyone who can read knows that the tremendous job losses ARE over. And GDP is starting to show growth.
Yeah, Bush left before the worst OF THE MESS HE CAUSED was over. I think I have made it pretty clear that Bush LEFT OBAMA A BIG MESS.
The bank bailouts WERE DONE UNDER BUSH. I have told you this before, but like a diarrhea lying Republican, you keep calling them Obama's bank bailouts. You repeating the lie, does not make it true.
So the big bank bonuses WERE GIVEN BY BUSH NOT OBAMA
Nobody knows the future of the economy. Not even koolaid drinkers like you. Job losses may very well not be over. And if Obama had focused his attention on Main Street and jobs creation instead of propping up his Wall Street campaign contributors who then created zero jobs, it might have been very different. BTW some of the bank bailouts happened under Obama and the Bush bailouts were supported by Obama. Do you think Goldman Sachs funded Obama's campaign because he was anti Wall Street?
So if the President of the United States ate more 99 cent hamburgers and Pringles (only when on sale of course,) you would be happy?
And you're saying you're NOT racist? Its the suspicion that he might have been overly influenced by his Muslim father that bothers you? He probably picked up some radical jihadist tendencies? I was seeing on CNN the other day how they were reporting job loss claims are slowing down, and they had someone on saying the only reason job loss claims are going down is because people haven given up telling the government they are unemployed.
So even when the numbers go down, people like Michelle Bachman will use this excuse to try and mislead people into thinking Obama is making things worse.
In fact, unemployment always goes down with a democrat in office
Anybody who says Obama is making things worse is not worth listening to. It just isnt true, no matter how one second guesses the numbers.
As I have often pointed out, The Republican mantra -- SMALL GOVERNMENT AND LOWERED DEBT is a sham. They have never delivered on it.
But the amnesiac hayseeds will continue to repeat the mantra, and shout, "Look out, the commies are coming!" As they have since McCarthy, And the hayseeds will vote against their own interests out of fear of brown people.
Like I said before...(jeez, its like talking to a child with you...) Obama's policies have halted the HEMORRHAGE of jobs. We are not losing jobs like we were. Now getting the horrible BUSH ECONOMIC COLLAPSE turned around, and seeing some new jobs created, is a very difficult task, and it takes some time. But with the new growth in GDP numbers, it is looking like the turnaround is beginning. IT WAS A BAD MESS. I'll give Obama a couple of years to turn it around.
Nobody knows the future. No jobs creation is seen in the foreseeable future at least until 2011. Perhaps you're good with that as long as the President is an African American. Most Americans according to the polls are not. Obama's popularity is at very low levels and it's likely there will be Republican gains in the Congress next fall. The inept performance of the Democratic Party has insured that. That is some strong koolaid you're drinking to be happy with this incompetence.
The Republicans had six years. And eight with the presidency. They fucked things up beyond repair.
Now you, and all the other amnesiac racists, after ONE YEAR with some positive movement, are ready to throw out the Democrats, and go back to the Republicans.
I have nothing to say to you and your racist friends. Its like talking to a very stupid wall.
In 2008, the American people were angry at the GOP because of economic mismanagement and the endless war policies. They went back to the tried and true popular technique known as "throw the bums out!" The Democrats misinterpreted this as a pro Democratic Party electorate. Now, after 2 years of Democratic Party economy mismanagement and a continuation of the Bush endless war policies, the American people are still angry. And soon a new set of Democratic Party bums will get kicked to the curb.
Two years? Is this earth years you are referring to?
We have two parties in this country. Republicans and Democrats. Republicans ran the country off a cliff. Democrats are making improvements, however slow (its a big country, and the problems Bush/Cheney caused were monumental,) on the war front and the economic front. If you dont want to recognize these improvements, thats your blind spot.
So the choice is down or up. Only amnesiac, ignorant hicks would choose down over up. Hello Republicans
Improvements? Jobs are not being created. They are still being lost and people who have jobs are suffering pay cuts. People still are losing their homes or suffering huge losses due to property valuation declines. I'm not sure what planet you're living on. And the Bush wars continue as if Bush was still in office. The bums elected in 2008 are about to get tossed and hopefully this time the new bums elected in 2010 will get it right. The American people have no patience for incompetence.
The Democrats certainly are not getting it done. So why not give the others a chance? They can be removed as well if they don't get the job done. The American people are looking for competence and they are not seeing it right now in this White House or in this Congress. With a Republican Congress, Obama might be spurred to do great things. When Gingrich and Clinton competed with each other for control over the government, it made Clinton better and led to his reelection.
What you refer to as the disasters are bipartisan in origin. For instance, the housing foreclosure crisis was in part caused by easy credit extended to home buyers which was facilitated by both Democratic Party and Republican Party politicians. If it simplifies your life to think of all Dems as good and all Republicans as bad, have at it. The reality is much more complicated. Democrats have been responsible for and or involved in many of the disasters we are now facing.
Obama, and Pelosi's House are moving things along quite nicely.
Now that Obama is going to quit trying to get Republicans to act like they care about the American people, I think he will get more done.
The Health Care plan HAS PASSED THROUGH THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE WITH 60 VOTES. It will be signed by the president, and it will do some very good things for the American people.
Obama handed health care reform over to the thieves of the US Congress and the reform itself was written by health care industry lobbyists. A strong progressive leader would have installed a single payer system by simply extending Medicare over time to cover everyone. No new system would have been needed. He would have told the lobbyists and the crooks in Congress what he was going to do and then went ahead and did it while he was still super popular following his election victory.
It isnt single payer. But we dont have enough lefties in the government to get that kind of common sense.
"Conservatives" will continue to block any common sense solutions to the problems of the American people. "Conservatives" dont give a shit about the American people. That much should be clear by now. But of course YOU HAVENT GOTTEN IT YET. Some are slower than others.
What you fail to get because you're an ideologue is that the labels you place on people obscure the reality of who that person is. You worship Hussein Obama because he is a progressive. And although you know now that Obama's biggest campaign contributor is Goldman Sachs you rationalize that he really doesn't work for them. According to you, all the work that Obama has done for Goldman Sachs was really done by the evil conservative Bush.
As it is, American health care will limp into 2011 on life support where it will face a Republican Congress which will push the agenda right into the ditch by the side of the highway. All this is due to Obama's weak leadership, his egomania, and his monumental failure of turning his health care reform over to the Congress and the lobbyists.
Everybody loves a winner. Even a closeted KKK wizard like me. Obama could have stepped up and implemented single payer and the American people would have been solidly behind him. Because stuff like health insurance portability and preexisting conditions would have been things of the past. But he got bogged down in the mire of the US Congress and the lobbyists of the health care industry. All he had to do was nationalize health insurance but he failed. Only ideologues fail to see this.
If it is as you say, and the American people are just angrily throwing out the bums -- Republicans, Democrats, whoever, just fire into the crowd and see who you hit, then the American people deserve what they get. Because that is a really stupid way to vote.
The people of Mass, who just elected an idiot, will soon find this out. There is a difference between Republicans and Democrats. Not enough, I'll admit. But it is a small difference. And Democrats are better for working class people.
The American people had it good under Bill Clinton and Clinton was popular. Had he ran for a third term, he would have defeated Bush or whoever the GOP ran against him. He was popular because he made jobs his priority and boom times resulted for which he got the credit. Obama, by contrast, faced a Bush recession like Clinton. But unlike Clinton, Obama has failed to focus on jobs and Democrat or not he will pay come November. Obama will pay dearly for his failure on the economy.
If the American people elect another Republican president, then the American people will deserve what they always get from Republicans.
More wars to send their sons and daughters to die in. More unregulated financial industry -- more bubbles, busts, bailouts and collapses of any real product producing businesses.
I dont doubt you are right. The American people are ignorant, amnesiac, and they are subject to drummed up fears of "commies" and brown-skinned people.
Wars and economic downturns are not caused by one party. Both parties have long histories of involvement in the decisions and choices which led to the situation we are in today. It did not just happen because of Bush and the GOP. For instance, the decision to escalate the Vietnam War began under Democratic Party control of the White House and both houses of Congress including filibuster proof control of the US Senate. In many days the problems we have now can be traced to that time.
You're right. I've supported Obama for too long. Maybe that blinded me to his corruption, but I'm finally seeing the light. All politicians are corrept to some extent. Sometimes they offer no-bid military contracts to companies they are politically connected to, but this pizza thing just took it to a new level. I propose calling it "pizzagate". I also call for the impeachment of Barack HUSSEIN Obama. (By the way, I'm not a racist, I just think his middle name is important for some reason.)
Hussein is an Arabic name. Many white Europeans are named Hussein. Any reference to Hussein therefore cannot be racism. Persons of all races are named Hussein. And don't forget--Obama's legal middle name is Hussein as was his Muslim Kenyan father's, Regarding Pizzagate, what level of corrupt government spending do you tolerate? I say zero. Once you allow small amounts of corruption, soon the sky's the limit as we see with Michelle Obama's full time taxpayer funded hair stylist.
Healthcare reform is such a serious topic, with republicians screaming about death panels, death books and they are going to kill grandma. Then to see Fox news make it a joke says so much. Just don't make fun of Dick Chenney!

Obama flew a renowned pizza chef in from Chicago to cook for him at the White House. Isn't that a privileged plane of existence? Courtesy of working Americans, of course.
electango 2 years ago
You are a true moron. The chef was going to DC on his own. He did not make a special trip to make Obama a pizza. He was already there. Stop believing everything you read.
Glasya666 2 years ago 4
Obama flew a pizza chef in from St Louis according to the Huffington Post so he could cook pizzas for a White House banquet for Obama and his guests. Now what kind of carbon footprint do those pizzas have? How much global warming will be caused by this move by the elitist Obama? And Obama's kitchen staff can't make pizzas for his guests? You don't even recognize elitism when it's staring you right in the face! God, you're a dork!
electango 2 years ago
Obama did not fly the pizza chef anywhere. The guy was already going to DC for a completely non-related reason. He flew himself there.
Glasya666 2 years ago
Perhaps Obama should focus more on putting America back to work and less on partying by bringing pizza chefs into the White House to make pizzas for his cronies. So far he's a mediocre President and right now with the troubles America has we need much better.
electango 2 years ago

electango 2 years ago

What's all this "elitism" bullshit about anyways. I would rather have the elite running this country than a bunch of brain dead idiots like Bush or Palin.
Glasya666 2 years ago
This elitism "bullshit" is about Michelle Obama's full time hair stylist. Guess who pays for that? Right. The same people who paid for Hussein Obama's 850 mile pizza run. You know, I wouldn't mind these two impersonating Marie Antoinette at all if hundreds of thousands of Americans weren't losing their jobs and or their homes. That is, if Obama was doing his job. For instance, Clinton's affair with Monica didn't bother me. As it is, Miss Dork, you are defending the indefensible.
electango 2 years ago
American presidents have always enjoyed a pretty high standard of living. Obama made millions from his two books. And Michelle had a very well-paying career in the hospital management field, before Obama won the election.
Your "elitist" complaints are extremely weak. Did you just suddenly awake to this issue when a Black man won his seat in the oval office? Should we make them sleep in the slave quarters out back? What a racist asshole you are.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
There's the race card. Totally shows the weakness of your arguments. Of course the Obamas are elitists. Graduates of first class Ivy League institutions including Harvard Law School with a little help from affirmative action which is a racist quota system. If I object to Obama's taxpayer funded 850 mile pizza run or Michelle's taxpayer funded full time hair stylist, that makes me a racist? Boy, are you digging deep into the bullshit supply today (or in your case, the diarrhea supply).
electango 2 years ago
No. What makes you a racist, is the FACT that you attack Obama for doing what every white president has done. What other reason would account for this kind of double standard?
If it is not racism, then what is it about Obama that makes you hold him to a higher standard than ANY OTHER PRESIDENT ON HISTORY?
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Give it a rest. I really don't care if you think I'm a racist. I don't hold Hussein Obama to a different standard than any other President. I don't happen to think just because a man is President that taxpayers should pay for a full time hair stylist for his wife or for his 850 mile pizza runs. The fact that you don't have a problem with it shows your mental disorder is much worse than racism.

taoofmichael 2 years ago
Is that your defense of Hussein Obama? That he is better than Bush? You know, flying in a pizza chef from St Louis so Obama and his crony buddies can have pizza all courtesy of the US Taxpayers--that sounds like something Bush would have done. All done while hundreds of thousands are losing their jobs and going into foreclosure on their homes. But that's OK with you because Obama's better than Bush. Right on Glasy.
Republicans lie like diarrhea, and they just dont give a fuck, because the NASCAR watching right-wing pawns who vote for them have a stronger fear of Black people, than love for their own families.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
The 2 trillion dollar oil wars and the Wall Street collapse continue under Hussein Obama. Instead of withdrawing our troops from Iraq as promised, Obama plans to keep at least 50,000 US troops in Iraq indefinitely. He lied. The Obama health care reform is a debacle benefiting only the health insurance firms, trial lawyers, hospitals and drug companies. His jobs creation flop only so far has benefited big Wall Street banks. You have a lot of balls talking about fiscal responsibility.
electango 2 years ago
Obama inherited a mess. Many Iraqis have stood with America, in this debacle. Obama feels some obligation to protect them from utter annihilation. Obama has a conscience, apparently. Unlike Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld. You know this. You just like to lie like diarrhea foaming Republicans, because you think its cool to try to win a political argument.
Obama would have a much better health care plan, if not for "conservatives.". But this one is better than nothing -- what you got from Republicans.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
America has been fighting in the Iraq area and in Iraq itself for at least 30 years. It's about control over Middle Eastern oil and Obama is staying in Iraq because of oil and not because of his alleged conscience or his desire to protect Iraqis. So you're the one spewing the diarrhea. As far as health care, Obama had a veto proof majority in the Senate and control of the House and couldn't get it done. It's about weak leadership and you know it. You blaming the GOP is just more diarrhea.
electango 2 years ago
You do not know Obama's motivations. RACIST ASSHOLE.
Trying to attack Obama for being a violent oil monger -- while defending the GOP, is too laughable to refute.
I said "conservatives" weakened this health care bill -- Democrats and Republicans. All "conservatives" are wholly owned subsidiaries of pharma and health insurance companies. I dont defend "conservatives" whatever party they are in. They are all diarrhea spewing assholes like you.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Once the race card is pulled out it's clear--you Marxist elitists are out of gas. Obama lied when he promised to withdraw American troops from Iraq. His Wall Street & Oil Company bosses won't allow it. Our troops will be there permanently for the oil. Obama himself protected the drug companies, the trial lawyers and the insurance companies. Then he said it was because of the conservatives that he couldn't get it done. Some saps apparently believe him.
electango 2 years ago
It remains to be seen whether our troops will stay in Iraq permanently, as you say. As yet, that is pure speculation -- NOT FACT. And the rest of your rant is pure conjecture, and projection of your own fears about his motives -- NOT FACT.
Obama is trying to deal with big business, and their puppets in the Senate that he has to deal with to get things done. But that may end soon. Hope so.
Nope my arguments are stronger than yours, AND you are a racist.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Our troops are surrounding our primary enemy in the region which is Iran. We have hundreds of billions of dollars of military assets in Iraq, Afghanistan, in the former Soviet Central Asian countries and in the seas and oceans off Iran. Your thinking that Obama has much influence over events concerning world oil supplies shows your naivete. You're another brainwashed progressive suckered by the Obama cult. You need an intervention.
electango 2 years ago
I know that Obama, as the elected president of the United States has sworn to defend the interests of the United States. I see investment in alternative energy, and a huge draw-down of troops from Iraq. So your paranoia, and internet-gleaned understanding of the situation shed zero light on the issues at hand.
I know that Bush/Cheney fell directly into the trap Osama Bin Laden laid for them, and fulfilled his wildest dreams of American stupidity.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Your argument boils down to because I don't accept Obama's elitist corruption that I'm a racist. Of course the flip side is you're all for elitist corruption when black people are the beneficiaries. So the disagreement here isn't about race at all. It's about elitist corruption--about 850 mile taxpayer paid pizza runs and taxpayer paid full time hair stylists for the wives of the powerful. I'm opposed to elitist corruption in all circumstances and you support elitist corruption sometimes.
electango 2 years ago
You have given no other explanation.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Is elitism OK with you as long as the elitist is African American?
electango 2 years ago
So if the President of the United States ate more 99 cent hamburgers and Pringles (only when on sale of course,) you would be happy?
And you're saying you're NOT racist? Its the suspicion that he might have been overly influenced by his Muslim father that bothers you? He probably picked up some radical jihadist tendencies? Is that it? Or is it that you are a "Christian" and you've been taught by your racist Pastor that ALL Muslims are of Satan?
Keep em coming. You are a HIGHLY entertaining guy
taoofmichael 2 years ago
elect -- How much does a first class plane ticket from St Louis to Washington cost?
Or both?
taoofmichael 2 years ago
With millions out of work, I don't want the President spending even one thin dime of taxpayers funds flying in pizza from St Louis for Obama's elitist ego gratification. None of this elitist corruption is petty. Because when some city councilman in the sticks sees Obama's extravagant partying, he says, "hey, if the big guy is doing it, I can and should also do it!" No wonder our state and local governments are all going bankrupt. Look at the example Obama is setting at the top.
electango 2 years ago
And you raved on about this "elitism" all through the Bush administration, of course?
No?
Its a new thing with you, isnt it? Since around, uumm, Jan 20, 2009? Face it dude. You are a racist. And you also fear people who follow a different religion than you do.
But please dont stop with your "rebuttals." I havent had a good laugh like this for a good while.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
To you anyone who opposes African American elitists or African American elitist politicians who engage in corrupt govt spending are racists. Your own racism blinds you to Obama's inadequacies as President because you're so enthralled with having an African American President that you're good with elitism and corruption. So this helps explain why this country is in so much trouble. Large segments of the population are influenced by the mentally disordered Obama Cult.
electango 2 years ago
But please dont stop!!!
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Legitimate complaints? My complaint about Obama's pro Wall Street anti Main Street big bank bailouts which benefited Goldman Sachs his biggest campaign contributor and has failed to stop increasing unemployment as promised is NOT legitimate? Find the graph of unemployment claims from 2007, to the present.
Under Bush, starting in 2006, but it really got rolling in 2007, unemployment rose at a RADICAL PACE until Feb of 2009. Under Obama, unemployment claims have been steadily DECREASING.
The graph shows employment numbers as follows: Under Bush -- down down down. Under Obama -- up up up.
Your claim that Obama's policies have "failed to increase unemployment" are just plain false. Republican diarrhea lying again.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Obama's pro Wall Street anti Main Street bailouts have failed to get America's historic jobs creation engine up and running. Nothing he has done has worked. Unemployment is rising and no jobs creation is in sight. Does the fact that the current recession began under Bush excuse Obama's abject failure to address unemployment successfully?
electango 2 years ago
Unemployment claims ARE NOT RISING.
Jobless claims are FALLING.
FACTS FACTS FACTS
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Nobody knows whether the tremendous jobs losses are over. So it's not clear what the effects of "progressive" Democratic policies are. Unemployment right now is 3 full percentage points above Bush levels at its worst. That is a fact. We do know that Obama's bank bail outs benefited big bank executives who received huge taxpayer funded bonuses thanks to Obama. I suppose it's racist or Islamophobic to oppose Obama's big bank executives' taxpayer financed bonuses?
electango 2 years ago
Actually, anyone who can read knows that the tremendous job losses ARE over. And GDP is starting to show growth.
Yeah, Bush left before the worst OF THE MESS HE CAUSED was over. I think I have made it pretty clear that Bush LEFT OBAMA A BIG MESS.
The bank bailouts WERE DONE UNDER BUSH. I have told you this before, but like a diarrhea lying Republican, you keep calling them Obama's bank bailouts. You repeating the lie, does not make it true.
So the big bank bonuses WERE GIVEN BY BUSH NOT OBAMA
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Nobody knows the future of the economy. Not even koolaid drinkers like you. Job losses may very well not be over. And if Obama had focused his attention on Main Street and jobs creation instead of propping up his Wall Street campaign contributors who then created zero jobs, it might have been very different. BTW some of the bank bailouts happened under Obama and the Bush bailouts were supported by Obama. Do you think Goldman Sachs funded Obama's campaign because he was anti Wall Street?

Bush's recession was in freefall when Obama took office. IN ONE YEAR Obama has halted the job losses. Seems fair enough to me to see if the next couple of years will bring more job gains. OBAMA'S POLICIES HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN HALTING JOB LOSS.
Republican policies caused the problem. Progressive Democrat policies ARE FIXING IT.
FACTS FACTS FACTS

do you have any good links for people that will prove what you say it inarguable?

Google "Chart of the Day, US weekly jobless claims."
Find the graph which shows jobless claims since 2007 (Bush) going up up up, then starting Feb 2009 (Obama) jobless claims going down down down.
Under Obama, jobless claims are on a very obvious downward trend.
Many other sources also confirm this. Do a little Googling. It took me two minutes to find it.

Racist!!!

That is some strong koolaid you're drinking to be happy with this incompetence.
electango 2 years ago
The Republicans had six years. And eight with the presidency. They fucked things up beyond repair.
Now you, and all the other amnesiac racists, after ONE YEAR with some positive movement, are ready to throw out the Democrats, and go back to the Republicans.
I have nothing to say to you and your racist friends. Its like talking to a very stupid wall.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
In 2008, the American people were angry at the GOP because of economic mismanagement and the endless war policies. They went back to the tried and true popular technique known as "throw the bums out!" The Democrats misinterpreted this as a pro Democratic Party electorate. Now, after 2 years of Democratic Party economy mismanagement and a continuation of the Bush endless war policies, the American people are still angry. And soon a new set of Democratic Party bums will get kicked to the curb.
electango 2 years ago
Hello Republicans
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Improvements? Jobs are not being created. They are still being lost and people who have jobs are suffering pay cuts. People still are losing their homes or suffering huge losses due to property valuation declines. I'm not sure what planet you're living on. And the Bush wars continue as if Bush was still in office. The bums elected in 2008 are about to get tossed and hopefully this time the new bums elected in 2010 will get it right. The American people have no patience for incompetence.
electango 2 years ago
And these ones who "get it right" will be Republicans?
If the American voters believe this, and act on it, they will deserve what they get. More Republican disasters.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
The Democrats certainly are not getting it done. So why not give the others a chance? They can be removed as well if they don't get the job done. The American people are looking for competence and they are not seeing it right now in this White House or in this Congress. With a Republican Congress, Obama might be spurred to do great things. When Gingrich and Clinton competed with each other for control over the government, it made Clinton better and led to his reelection.
electango 2 years ago
What should we vote for, the party that caused the disasters, or the party that is not fixing them fast enough (after one year in office?)
taoofmichael 2 years ago 2
What you refer to as the disasters are bipartisan in origin. For instance, the housing foreclosure crisis was in part caused by easy credit extended to home buyers which was facilitated by both Democratic Party and Republican Party politicians. If it simplifies your life to think of all Dems as good and all Republicans as bad, have at it. The reality is much more complicated. Democrats have been responsible for and or involved in many of the disasters we are now facing.

Vote for Republicans, tango. You deserve it.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
I vote competence or what I determine to be competence. You should try it too rather than voting ideologically.
electango 2 years ago
If the Bush/Cheney administration was your idea of competence, you have nothing to teach me.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Competence is not the sole province of either party. If the Obama health care reform fiasco is your idea of competence, I have plenty to teach you.
electango 2 years ago
The Senate is an embarrassment.
It will be signed by the president, and it will do some very good things for the American people.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Obama handed health care reform over to the thieves of the US Congress and the reform itself was written by health care industry lobbyists. A strong progressive leader would have installed a single payer system by simply extending Medicare over time to cover everyone. No new system would have been needed. He would have told the lobbyists and the crooks in Congress what he was going to do and then went ahead and did it while he was still super popular following his election victory.
electango 2 years ago
It isnt single payer. But we dont have enough lefties in the government to get that kind of common sense.
"Conservatives" will continue to block any common sense solutions to the problems of the American people. "Conservatives" dont give a shit about the American people. That much should be clear by now. But of course YOU HAVENT GOTTEN IT YET. Some are slower than others.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
What you fail to get because you're an ideologue is that the labels you place on people obscure the reality of who that person is. You worship Hussein Obama because he is a progressive. And although you know now that Obama's biggest campaign contributor is Goldman Sachs you rationalize that he really doesn't work for them. According to you, all the work that Obama has done for Goldman Sachs was really done by the evil conservative Bush.
electango 2 years ago
As it is, American health care will limp into 2011 on life support where it will face a Republican Congress which will push the agenda right into the ditch by the side of the highway. All this is due to Obama's weak leadership, his egomania, and his monumental failure of turning his health care reform over to the Congress and the lobbyists.
electango 2 years ago
With you, Obama could never win. If he does something, you dont like it. If he doesnt do something, you dont like it. I think you're a racist.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Everybody loves a winner. Even a closeted KKK wizard like me. Obama could have stepped up and implemented single payer and the American people would have been solidly behind him. Because stuff like health insurance portability and preexisting conditions would have been things of the past. But he got bogged down in the mire of the US Congress and the lobbyists of the health care industry. All he had to do was nationalize health insurance but he failed. Only ideologues fail to see this.
electango 2 years ago
You're sounding like a commie now.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
If it is as you say, and the American people are just angrily throwing out the bums -- Republicans, Democrats, whoever, just fire into the crowd and see who you hit, then the American people deserve what they get. Because that is a really stupid way to vote.
The people of Mass, who just elected an idiot, will soon find this out. There is a difference between Republicans and Democrats. Not enough, I'll admit. But it is a small difference. And Democrats are better for working class people.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
The American people had it good under Bill Clinton and Clinton was popular. Had he ran for a third term, he would have defeated Bush or whoever the GOP ran against him. He was popular because he made jobs his priority and boom times resulted for which he got the credit. Obama, by contrast, faced a Bush recession like Clinton. But unlike Clinton, Obama has failed to focus on jobs and Democrat or not he will pay come November. Obama will pay dearly for his failure on the economy.
electango 2 years ago
If the American people elect another Republican president, then the American people will deserve what they always get from Republicans.
More wars to send their sons and daughters to die in. More unregulated financial industry -- more bubbles, busts, bailouts and collapses of any real product producing businesses.
I dont doubt you are right. The American people are ignorant, amnesiac, and they are subject to drummed up fears of "commies" and brown-skinned people.
They deserve what they get.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Wars and economic downturns are not caused by one party. Both parties have long histories of involvement in the decisions and choices which led to the situation we are in today. It did not just happen because of Bush and the GOP. For instance, the decision to escalate the Vietnam War began under Democratic Party control of the White House and both houses of Congress including filibuster proof control of the US Senate. In many days the problems we have now can be traced to that time.
electango 2 years ago
That is your problem with Obama? That he flew in a pizza chef from St Louis? EVERY president has thousand dollar dinners. Thats it?
2 trillion dollar oil wars. Wall Street collapse. Yeah, Obama is better than Bush. And ALL Democrats are more fiscally responsible than Republicans.
Republicans HAVE NEVER DELIVERED SMALLER GOVERNMENT, OR A LOWER NATIONAL DEBT. That is a fact. Why do we listen to them at all?
taoofmichael 2 years ago
You're right. I've supported Obama for too long. Maybe that blinded me to his corruption, but I'm finally seeing the light. All politicians are corrept to some extent. Sometimes they offer no-bid military contracts to companies they are politically connected to, but this pizza thing just took it to a new level. I propose calling it "pizzagate". I also call for the impeachment of Barack HUSSEIN Obama. (By the way, I'm not a racist, I just think his middle name is important for some reason.)
Glasya666 2 years ago
Right on Glasy. Progressives definitely have something going for them -- a sense of humor.
taoofmichael 2 years ago
Hussein is an Arabic name. Many white Europeans are named Hussein. Any reference to Hussein therefore cannot be racism. Persons of all races are named Hussein. And don't forget--Obama's legal middle name is Hussein as was his Muslim Kenyan father's, Regarding Pizzagate, what level of corrupt government spending do you tolerate? I say zero. Once you allow small amounts of corruption, soon the sky's the limit as we see with Michelle Obama's full time taxpayer funded hair stylist.

How in the world can there people still out there that regard Fox as a news organization? My father being one of them.

Healthcare reform is such a serious topic, with republicians screaming about death panels, death books and they are going to kill grandma. Then to see Fox news make it a joke says so much. Just don't make fun of Dick Chenney!
