are you guys standing in mixed for this? I can't really tell with the distance from the camera.....great performance! My only experience with a group of this size is for Disneyland's Candlelight celebration, but the music for that is all classical holiday music....
AH! I LOVE this song! I wasn't in the group last year (my director didn't get me music in time - grrr), but we sang this in choir, and OMG. I love this song.

Hey! I audition at Indianola! I know what you mean, though, about Urbandale and Johnston, though - very hard in this district! I'm one of three that made it this past year (2008) - we're the first three in about six years to make it, so it's a pretty big accomplishment.

It was actually a really bad experience last year. We were all doing fine, then our alto got in the wrong key on A Boy and a Girl and that messed up our bass, and then I was the only one left in the right key by the end, but the auditor didn't notice/care.
I go to DM Christian. Small private school. Haha. Maybe we'll see each other. :)
I'm not sure about groups yet - we don't start stuff until we go back to school, but I'm headed up to Wartburg for camp this weekend! Toooootally excited about it. :)

Unfortunately, no. My school auditions at Indianola and is not Valley or Ankeny or Johnston, so I have next to no chance. :(

And on the bright side, I got to learn some of the most beautiful music in existence and I'm pumped for next year.
