I really think that Bond had deep feelings for Melina, more than most of the other Bond girls. He spoke calmly, he was comforting, he was protective and he seemed to care for her a fair bit. This is a touching scene, one of my favourite. x

I love it when the light bulb comes on. Such a beautiful & romantic scene. My favorite James Bond movie of all time. Made me want to go scuba diving, skiing, & mountain climbing.

Question about the direction of this scene: what is supposed to be conveyed by filming the scene so far away from the characters and emphasizing the scenery? To give it a sense of what Melina's life was like when she was younger (traveling all over)?
