I reckon it would be a nice idea - given the size and weight of the aircraft - to actually fit a "fake pilot head" being composed of a fully articulated camera or cameras, to get the pilots view of the ride, AND fly it with a ground based joystick through a monitor or monitors.
Wonderful model of the E28. I believe it was the 100th anniversary of Whittle's birthday yesterday. The man was a marvellous British genius. If only people would have listened to him sooner, perhaps the Germans wouldn't have picked a fight with the RAF...
A few decades earlier, "experts" were scoffing at heavier-than-air flight. Funny how often research & experimentation have meant so little to people in authority who simply resisted anything new.
Excellent, I was very impressed by the scale flying speed, it just looks right in the air. Are we going to see this model at any shows in the UK in 2007?
