  • A dream....

  • @ewaevaluna Thank you for your kind comment.

  • Wow :) I've always loved dolls houses, but that is the best I've ever seen :D

  • @ACJvideos Many thanks for your kind comment and we are so pleased to be able to share it with everyone else out there...

    Regards Peter & Janet

  • Wonderful, just wonderful!!!

  • @PipiTurner - Many thanks and glad to share... Peter

  • I've done some research into starting my own dolls house and I can tell you whoever put this house together dropped - easily - over 3 grand. And that's just an estimate on the accessories! The house along most definitely cost them another couple hundred.

They did an awesome job in selecting the accessories and dolls and actually succeeded in making this little house seem almost like a live Victorian home. Great job whoever did this!

  • @damnatureufkdup Thanks for you words of wisdom and you are right on the cost factor but I must point out that each part is a small cost and that was how it was built up over a few years to get it right. The cost was never an issue because of the fun we both had doing the project. Going to shows within about 100 miles and meeting the people who make the items was also fun. Fantastic project for my wife and me at the time.

  • @brucepeter2007...yes, they ARE really a lot of fun! I've always been attracted to and intrigued by miniatures and a dolls house is the perfect venue for showcasing little things. Funny how those little things add up though, huh ")

Question - did the two of you find any online communities or blogs that allowed people to exchange ideas and/or affordable places/sites to purchase items?

  • @damnatureufkdup Reply - In reply to your question we found little help on-line or in most mags because the best cost effective bits are a cottage industry type of thing - you only found them at more local dolls house fairs. The best show we found in the UK was the Kensington Dolls House Fair which had traders who had to be "invited" and you had the best makers from Europe and even the USA selling their wares. You just have to see with your own eyes what your buying so it "looks right"

  • @brucepeter2007..oh, I see. Ok, well thank you so much for your reply and advice! Keep up the great job in creating your little spaces!

  • Wow! So much awesome detail! I LOVE these kind of doll houses! So cute and amazing! I would love to live in those kinds of dollhouses. :)

  • @TDArulesclub4 Thanks so much for your kind words. I think it is "escapist" in a way as reality can be such a pain sometimes so to look in each room and let your mind wonder is great.

    Regards Peter

  • what is the name of this song?

  • @ireneoct1006 I am so sorry but cant remember now - Mozart I think.

  • This is great, what attention to detail. I love it so much and want to see more.

Maybe you could make a miniature vid of some Victorian novel, maybe Pride and Prejudice or something. That would be cool. Excellent doll house and figures,

  • marvelous...how i love the victorian era it showcase here how they lived during those times! thanks for sharing this video!!! ☺

  • @astra1079 Thanks for your kind comment.

  • Enjoyed the tour back into the Victorian era. The attention to detail is wonderful.

  • @andicatz Many thanks for your comment - it was an interesting undertaking which took many years but the wife and me had a good time as well.

  • This kind of houses scare me. If I were a doll, I would be terrified. But is wonderful, a magnifique piece of art.

  • @Sanchoelmalo Thanks for the comment - me and the wife worked hard to make it as real as we could without spending a fortune - but my wife Jan did go too far on a lot of items but they are unique as they are "one off" and made by people from many countries. It s just so nice to share with others to show what can be done and there are a lot out there better than ours...

    Regards Peter & Janet

  • Wow I just love it..

  • @wowza191 Thanks for your kind comment - I was getting a bit worried because the last comment I had was rather unkind and I can only think that his computer speakers are very faulty.

So glad you enjoyed the house and the more you view it the more detail you tend to see...

    Regards Peter

  • @brucepeter2007 : Oh I heard it too, but I was so amazed by the doll house, the farting noise didn't worry me haha. But I loved it, I'm currently making my own, well, not making really, I'm collecting doll house parts for my victorian house, and just seeing other houses, yours is just...brilliant, the little details and things make the house, It's amazing...

  • @wowza191 Now I know what it is - its the mixing of the audio with the video when I used the old version of a video editor - Nothing I can do about it now but glad it did not spoile your enjoyment.

Good luck with your venture and you will find you will replace things a lot as you will always find something that just does not fit.

Try and get along to the best dollshouse show at Kensington Town Hall - the exhibitors are invitation only and its very nice gear from all over Europe & the USA

  • @brucepeter2007 : Well I hope I don't have to replace things, I'm not made of money haha.

And I'll be sure to do that :) You take care x

  • um what is that farting noise ?

  • @theajshowification I have no idea...

  • Beautiful

  • @theCatsrule18 Many thanks for you comment - This dollshouse has been a fun thing to do for my wife and me - like jumping into another world when you get fully involved...

    Regards Peter

  • Wow! Fantastic Mrs Pete! And great video Pete! That roast dinner made me feel hungry! They must have had 20 pence pieces the size of dinner plates in them days! LOL

  • @tp2fly Hi Trev. I can assure you that the dolls house took many years to get right and every time we took a picture you could see something wrong so out came the offending item... When you get hitched dont let her have a dolls house...
