@thedarkwolfzearoth It doesn't. This video skews your perspective, because N64 Zelda could output a 480p resolution compared to the 3DS resolution 240p. This makes the 3ds look blurry in comparison, but it's not because the video here is stretched. In an emulator that could make a 480p hack of 3ds games it will be blatantly obvious 3ds is the winner. There's much higher resolution textures, better lighting, and better geometry (ladders, fences are not just flat surfaces).

The frame-rate is higher and consistent, more similar to that of twilight princess's (as an example you can compare how link walks in the n64 version and the 3ds version, he doesn't walk like he is carrying 200 pounds on his back.)

textures are greatly improved (resolution) as there are plants and other foliage added, as well as background textures are rendered in 3d rather than 2d improving realism.

special effects (floor reflection in the temple of time)

items are a much higher resolution.

@HuskeyTacos They barely changed a thing in this game... The lines are all the same, except for a few to fix grammar, and to adapt to the new controls... And the blood covering the floor in the bottom of the well looks more realistic then it did... Meaning they didn't make it into a little kids game... And plus, Twilight princess was a T rated game...

They barely changed a thing in the version?

3DS version had many things changed, except the actual gameplay, text and music.

But the newer things were, as follows:

Newer graphics.

Added Master Quest.

Decreased frustration in the Water Temple.

Increased Frame Rate to 30 instead of measly 20.

And not to mention... REPLAYABLE BOSS BATTLES! :D

Wow. You've actually been able to make the N64 version's graphics look better. The N64 screens have clearly been emulated and upscaled on a PC, and the 3DS footage is just plain blurry.

Not to mention, what it lacks in HD it gains in control, playability, music, story and replay value. That's also what makes it the king.

This video is not a true representation, as the N64 shots are blatantly emulated! I am one of the few lucky people that went to the Nintendo event in London this weekend and played a demo of the 3DS Ocarina of time. I can tell you it looks and plays amazing, the depth of 3D in the game was like nothing I've seen before. Colours are vibrant and the game runs soo smooth. You will all see for yourselves in just under 2 months time. You are in for a treat!

@dscorpion234 you're not helping, you know. Try watching some GC and PS2 game videos and compare them to what's already available on the 3DS. If stuff like that RE game or SSF4 were possible on the wii even, then they would have ported those a long time ago. The 3Ds has shaders, ani aliasing, bump mapping, etc. all built into the system.
