  • The SNES one is full of win!

  • @scigamerfan07 mind doing a collection of all the versions of Slash from Rondo of Blood?

  • If they put Richter and this song in Judgement, that would've sold me on it.

  • The CV64 version had so much meaning behind it, due to the fact, it was Dracula playing it on the Title Screen...says a lot to play the theme of a guy who kicked your ass on violin lol #justsaying

  • HYDRO STORM!!!!

  • I've always wanted a Castlevania Judgment remix on this. I know the game itself is panned all around but the music on it is divine. No pun intended.

  • @lokienvy

Well, I certainly didn't hate it.

  • Classic tune

  • Ooops, I meant Castlevania 64, my bad... lol

  • I love the Chronicles version of this song! Just something about it, the combination of the violin and the piano make me love it!

  • four persons did not pass the game.... jajajajajaj

  • 4 personas no lograron pasar el juego, jajajajajja

  • Go richter belmont !

  • Goddamn it, the PC Engine version is so perfect that it is in fact the best of them all!

  • @TheBalboaReturnz damn right

  • castlevania 64 has got music?

  • @Super0Andreu0Bros

Uhhh yeah. The only part that doesn't is outside the castle. Even in the AVGN's review (Which I know is the reason you don't think there is) you can hear music in the background during his nitro/mandragora rant (Which you can drop using the C-buttons).

  • I don't know why, but everytime I watch these videos and there are both a SNES and DS version of a track, I say "man the DS version of this track sounds like crap, the SNES version is waaaaaay better"

  • @countrybluegrass i was noy putting a game but the fact of the game time line dude becuse you play portrait of ruin and when you get to the point to make the whip power to full you fight the last belmont to hold it richter that is was i was stating no offence for the confusion

  • so is portrit of ruin the one that comes after ritcher's adventure?

  • @granis1233

What? There's no game called Richter's Adventure and Rondo of Blood takes place in 1797, Symphony of the Night is a direct sequel to it and takes place several years later. Portrait of Ruin takes place in the 1940s and was released well over a decade after Rondo of Blood.

  • Castlevania 64 version for the win!!!

  • I love this music with the style of megaman battle network :D

  • @Xixo6942

    The hell you talkin' about?

  • richter belmont kinda reminds me of ryu :I

  • ITs one of the best castlevania theme in the series

  • I loved fighting Richter.

  • DXC version is awesome

  • SNES version FTW :)

  • although the PSP doesn't trigger nostalgia like some of the other ones. I still think it's the best.

  • Rondo of Blood = 2nd best, this time the remake beat the original Dracula X = Best one. Symphony of the Night = Very evil, it's a boss battle anyway, but it's too much evil. Castlevania 64 = Very sad... Portrait of Ruin = 8bit with opera? But still great. Dracula X PSP Port = One of the bests. Rank> 1st-DraculaX Snes 2nd-Rondo of Blood 3rd-DraculaX PSP 4th-Portrait of Ruin 5th-Symphony of the Night 6th-Castlevania 64
  • @alissondownload Totally agree with you on the best one it has certai air of encouragement asking you continue on the other hand i hated the Portrait of ruin version

  • The first one reminds me of yu yu hakusho a bit.

  • psp version is just fucking awesome!!!!

  • I will always think that the PC Engine had the best of Richter's themes

  • Rondo of Blood had better sound quality, but in my opinion Dracula X SNES had the better of the two variations.

  • @GrovyleXShinyCelebi Are you serious nigga?

  • vampire killer my fav ^_^

  • I'm torn between Divine Bloodlines and Bloody Tears being my favorite songs from Castlevania.

  • dracula and shaft disliked

  • HYDRO STORM!!!!

  • Honestly, I think the TG16 version of this has much less soul than Dracula X SNES, personally.

  • Castelvania 64 is intro of the castlevanai circle of the moon

  • Castlevania Symphony of the Night version just looks kinda... evil?

  • @ViosKiller Duh. You are fighting an Evil Richter with his mind under the control of Shaft. So naturally, his theme also becomes warped and slightly evil sounding.

  • What is Twilight? Nothing but a miserable pile of shitz! Haha, there should be a YTP of that saying somehow, you know? That'd be pretty funny! :P

  • What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets!

  • My favorite of them all! One of the things I need to start with my weapons and magical items and learn huge moves with one dimension possibility.

  • castlevania 64 is one of the best because dracula himself plays the song!

  • Symphony of the night will always be in my heart!

  • Edward Cullen(the Twilight Sparkle) and Dracula disliked this.

  • guys, which version is the best??

  • @BennyFourStrings

    The first...of course

  • i like playing castlevania anyone who loves castlevania like this comment

  • Dracula and shaft disliked this.

  • Love this Theme! Brings back good memories.

  • 2 people missed work for watching the video 5 times in a row

  • 1 person is a vampire

  • WHO DISLIKED THIS!!!!!!!!!???????????????

  • Is it just me or does Portrait of Ruin have the best renditions of old Castlevania themes?

  • snes version is the best!

  • of the entire rondo series songs i like the rondo one most dracula x and dx chronicles r tied at second fav

  • WHAT IS A FAKE VAMPIRE NAMED EDWARD, A MISRIBLE LITTLE PILE OF SECRETS BUT ANOUGH TALK HAVE AT YOU

  • This theme has somehow a megaman X feeling, mainly the Dracula's X PSP version. The one from 64 feels like TLoZ: OoT, while the rest had that Castlevania touch, convined with X feeling.

  • SSJScott09, lol

  • WHAT IS A TWILIGHT FAN??! A MISERABLE LITTLE PILE OF SHIT..BUT ENOUGH TALK HAVE AT YOU!!

  • 1 dislike?!!?! DRACUUULLLLAAAAA!!!!!!!

  • @Verethan Send the Belmonts after that freak.

  • @MegamanNG Yes he DOESNT BELONG IN THIS WORLD

  • PoR version is one of the best, mixing the original with the Nitm/Sotn version

  • @FlameG102 That is Divine Bloodlines.

  • there is a judgement version try my channel the video is called beginning trevor theme

  • Thats the beginning, not divine bloodlines.

  • first belmont ever controlled by dracula's minions i feel sorry for richter in SOTN i like killing him even the holy glasses is equip

  • remember when I play castlevania portrait of ruin and have to figth Richter, that was awesome. too bad that Richter dont was in Castlevania Judment.

  • remember when I play castlevania portrait of ruin and have to figth Richter, that was awesome

  • IMO:

    64 the best overall.

Dracula X SNES is the best for a stage, even though game was mostly inferior. The others seem inappropriate for Richter fighting his way through his burning village.

SOTN is the best for a boss fight. It's almost recognizable at points, with Richter's heroic theme creeping through here and there. I think that's the point, given his condition at the time.

You missed the COTM version, but it's just a vastly inferior recreation of the 64 one. Barely worth mentioning.

  • SotN (^w^)b

  • You steal men's souls! And make them your slaves!

  • Roses are Red,

    Violets are Blue,

    But enough Talk,

    Have at You!

  • @SSJScott09 That's a good one

  • @SSJScott09 OMG, loled so hard at this!

  • @SSJScott09 hehehehehe

  • @SSJScott09

    LOL! XD

  • @SSJScott09 Die monster, you don´t belong in this world.

  • @SSJScott09 got to sent that as a valentine card!!!

  • @SSJScott09 Hey, this is Bloodlines, NOT DANCE OF ILLUSIONS!

...but who knew Dracula was so good at poetry???

  • Die monster, you don't belong in this world!

  • @OSDolphin It was not by my hand that I am once again given flesh. I was brought here by HYOOMANZ who wish to pay me tribute.

  • @SSJScott09 Tribute? You steal men's souls, and make them your slaves!

  • @OSDolphin Perhaps the same could be said of all Religions.

  • @SSJScott09 Your words are as empty as your soul! Mankind ill needs a savior such as you!

  • @OSDolphin What is a man?! A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk, Have At You!

  • @SSJScott09 *PS1 Crashes*

    Me: GOD DAMNIT!

  • @SSJScott09

    And The Battle Starts =D

  • I can agree that the SNES version kicks most of the others out of the water. Even the 64 one. I just think it deserves props for being as good as it is, considering the game its in.

  • Dude, fuck the N64 version. SNES is where it's at.

  • My vote is on the 64 version. It's the one thing that game did right.

  • Morris: I was looking around the corner, then Richter popped up with his hand cocked back. And he was all like, "Johnny Morris!" Punched me right in the face.

Richter: Cocaine is a hell of a drug...heh heh...

  • Dracula dislikes... ;D

  • I love the 64 version, It´s Amazing ^_^

  • I totally shat bricks when I found out who the Whip's memory really was in Portrait of Ruin.

  • The Dorakyura Ekussu Version its Beter ;D

  • Althou SotN is my favorate Castlevania, I do remember the serise for Simon Belmont first.

  • This theme would sound awesome in a mega man x game!

  • The 64 version reminds of pokemon idk y and Sotn reminds of metriod or something else

  • The main reason why ppl know castlevania is cuz of SOTN not many ppl remember the Nes and Snes and it pisses me Off

  • @wierdnick I do. The first one I owned as a kid was "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse". A great game, but it was a relentless one. Also, "Super Castlevania IV" was also a favorite of mine that recommend to anybody.

What really sucks butt is that us gamers here in the states didn't get the original version of "Rondo of Blood" until over ten years later.

  • @wierdnick listen I'm 15, my first castlevania game was COTM, I looked up castlevania and here I am 5 years later with emulators of the NES, 64, Genesis an Game boy/colour/advance. All Dedicated to CV

  • wow 1 guy couldnt beat this game lol

  • i played castlevania since i was 4

  • @ganonslayer1000

I also play Castlevania when I was 4. My parents doesn't seem to care about the game's PG.

  • I am now a Castlvania Fanboy

  • @IFalconBeta I know what you mean. o_O

  • Definitely one of my favorite vgms

  • dracula x portrait and rondo of blood are my fav versions of the theme

  • the castlevania 64 version is strangely fascinating.

  • For some reason the Dracula x version makes me horny

  • Meh, Super Castlevania IV was better than Dracula X. Konami had to take away my 8-direction whipping...

  • ENOUGH OF THIS. GIVE. ME. POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

  • Dracula X version blows my mind no matter how many times i listen to it.

  • For why dracula!!!!!! for why dislike this video D=

    Ritcher theme is awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • I think one person missed the 'like' button.

  • Dracula : What is Divine Bloodlines ? An awesome pile of awesomeness. But enough talk ! Have at you !

  • Loved 64's rendition; was much more darker than the rest and gave that apocalyptic feeling.

Plus it was my first Castlevania game and my favourite to boot so it's an added bonus for me. XD

  • Get the psp and you have like half of those songs

  • Dracula hit the dislike button.

  • If the Twilight fans cursors even near the dislike button, they will hear a whip crack right behind them.

  • I prefer to forget that they used this in Castlevania 64. It taints an otherwise excellent song.

  • Snes version ftw

  • The most disturbing thing about the Castlevania 64 rendition is who's playing the song.

  • @ChaosAura15 You mean... Malus?

  • @Polgani

No. He means something MORE than Malus.

    *Grin*

  • @ChaosAura15 Malus plays the song, and Malus is Dracula....

This means that even DRACULA, Richter's nemisis, thinks this theme is awesome.

That says something about a character when even their antagonist is secretly gay for them.

  • @JXZX1

loool i love richter too but not in a gay way (i just think he's awesome)

  • @martooxxx Yeah, I'm just extravagating :P. seriously, though, Richter is a badass and is my favorite Belmont, followed by good ole Simon ( he also has an awesome theme ), and a toss-up between Julius and Trevor....

Y'knoe what? Belmont are in general huge badasses, if your last name is Belmont, you are automatically cool. But Richter is awesome even by Belmont standards1

  • @JXZX1

agreed in every single fucking word you said. simon is my 2nd fave too, but for some reason i dont like julius.

  • @ChaosAura15 whos playing it? it sounds familiar though.

  • @01creativenamehere10 During the intro cinematic, you see a young child playing the theme on a violin. The child is later revealed to be Dracula in disguise.

  • @ChaosAura15 what it is malus poor but good if you play you'll see what happens with the:)

  • fue con el castlevania 64 donde empece a comparar la musica del violin y la musica del level 1 de castlevania dracula x

  • @ChaosAura15 yeah

    its played by dracula :D

  • @ChaosAura15 I'd say the most disturbing thing is how GOOD it is, for a game that is so universally agreed upon as being utter crap.

  • one gay Twilight fan boy disliked the music.

do to the world a favor and kill your self!

  • 64 ... the best vercion!!

  • thats great, you made a very good job getting all these songs togheter

blodlines is one of my favorites songs of castlevania, keep it up

  • awesome theme loved it amazing good work

  • The Castlevania at 4:47 shares that theme with Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, or at least up until 5:13.

  • @AceTheBlack16 Yeah, Circle of Moon came after CV64

  • I know it sounds corrupted as all hell, but I like SotN's mix of this theme.

It's like the composer gave off the feel that even though you're fighting a Richter that's not under his own control, you can feel that there's still something inside that's trying to fight the evil that's possessed his body. As Alucard struggles to defeat Richter (or rescue, depending on your ending choice), so too does Richter struggle with himself.

  • @LashSB When I first played Symphony and that song started, I was like "WTF is this?!" But once that little riff kicked in @ 3:37, it gave me goosebumps, because I felt just like you said.

  • come on guys give the 64 version a chance listen to it, because it's so bad it'll put you to sleep

  • Why didnt castlevania judgement have Richter in that game

  • @eluu3 because Judgement sucked ass. It was awful.

  • @Kingofevil565

But the music was awesome. Right? RIGHT? RIGHT?!?

  • A true shame there was no Judgment rendition of this, it would have sounded epic beyond measure.

  • Comment removed

  • Yummy~

  • But enough talk, Have at you! *clicks play*

  • *Slaps wine glass to the floor*

  • @iTrolledABearOnce that would be the true Metroidvania.

  • One person is a miserable pile of secrets.

  • What is a collection? a miserable little pile of Osts recopiled in a video.

  • @RSweekwolfRS There's nothing miserable about THIS collection.

  • @Nimbi64 iknow its only a meme of this game XD i am a castlevania fan

  • @iTrolledABearOnce Don't forget Laser Whips & Rocket powered Crosses!

  • a robat type of castlevania...=/

    kinda...dosent make sence then

and simon beta bc 525 shoot lazers instead of whips hm

i dont think a syber space type game is that great.

  • N64 version is great.

And yes, the game was difficult but not unplayable.

i like challenge once in a while.

    games today are too easy.

  • what about the one in harmony of dissonance?

  • @Camofly1075 That one is Juste's Theme, not Richter's

  • @edgarbh01 the one in sky's walkway?

it sounds a lot like richters =P

well it has that one part at least
