  • When I loose weight or when I try to loose weight, its to make me feel better about my self... I use to be 99lbs when I started dating my husband...Just had my second baby and today I weigh 159lbs I am not happy with my self at all!

  • Hey Pete, first time viewer here. Hats off to you for documenting your journey, very real and I'm sure a ton of us (no pun intended) out here can relate. :) Of the handful of videos I clicked on, majority of the workouts you did were on the treadmill. I've been there, done that and constantly found myself bored or just unmotivated...then I stumbled upon Crossfit (while you're here, youtube it :)). As someone who has always struggled not only with my weight, but more importantly my motivation...

I applaud what you are doing with the first actual day by day in an organized way video dairy on youtube. Keep up the good work. Question for you what is your ultimate goal at the end of the weight loss? Do you feel it will mentally change who you are at the end? Just food for thought.

  • I'm on day 6 of Insanity and only lost like 1 lb. I am 5'6" and 228 lbs. Normally I would be upset about doing this crazy-ass workout and only losing a pound after a week (and I am eating right...clean and close to the nutrition plan), but I am actually starting to feel better...more energy and such...so I think I'll see the scale results in another week or so.

    Will keep an eye out for your updates, i'm really interested in seeing if you will keep fighting for loosing weight. The odds are not with you, many start but few finish, though I am cheering for you. I'm myself on a toning and muscle gaining program, I understand what you are going through.

A lot of people here are talking about how they are trying to lose there weight but I'm in quite a different situation for I have a very fast metabolism and it is very hard for me to gain weight so I'm like the polar opposite of you in that respect lol you are inspiring even for someone who wishes to gain weight!

  • Good work Pete, I like your idea. I to am trying to lose weight. I am down from 280 to 253 but this is over 2 years. My goal is 180 I am 53 and it is a lot harder as you get older.
