The movie's theme is great. I study in a catholic university centre and almost all my colleagues seminarists are gays. Most of these colleagues go to seminar to "abolish their own sexuality because they thinks that is sinned, wrong. Others colleagues living a lie for their families and priesthood.
The prodigal Son: Parable ?? what was that all about??? sound familiar - THUS>>*LOVE + FORGIVENESS (of another against us = IS LOVE DIVINE) LOVE IS AN EXTERNAL REFLECTION OF THE DIVINE LOVE WITHIN EACH OF US:(or love is an external sign of an internal grace) its all there in scripture - So read the it! with your eyes + heart open this time...
i love that line in the trailer - If Love is Gift from God and love entails great suffering - what does that say about God? - perhaps it says - God balances the equation always. to give greatest passion in your life - one that takes you beyond your self - and indeed God is one of US!
is then set up within a context of love between two men which for many reasons forces suffering upon them from outsiders who believe they are wrong/living in sin. If one truly believes that homosexuality is a sin, how do you explain love among gay couples, considering the questions posed in the movie? Many would disagree and say that is not true love, and therefore not a reflection of God's love in the first place. Others would disagree.
"If love is a gift from God, and love entails suffering, then when does that say about God?
Sheikfreak367, I think you might have missed the point of the question. If someone gives you gift to remember them by but that gift is guaranteed to cause suffering and pain, you'd begin to question the motives of that person. In the same way, the filmmaker is raising the question to his audience with the presupposition that genuine love can be shared between people of the same gender. The question..
oh and p.s.. If he is in the seminary and is having a relationship, he should probably leave the seminary, since well, yeah. Priests are called to be chaste and single since the whole Church becomes their family. So I am a bit confused about this movie......
It says that God has to suffer so much for us.Think about it. Most humans can't really commit to God either in life. Even I myself have trouble trusting in God and doing God's will sometimes. I bet it breaks God's heart to see us turn away from him after he created us and sacrificed his own Son for us, after all he does for us. But God keeps loving us unconditionally just the same. And if we decide to commit to him, then we will experiece some awesome love for him. :)

Disgusting: First, a priest may be a boy, who is heterosexual.
With the Christian vision of family and non-deviant,as shown in this video.
This film is a demonical.

P.S. only Catholic priests must remain chaste.
