If police break the law they should find themselves facing the same sorts of charges as any citizen would but unfortunately many laws prevent prosecution of police if they break the law while wearing a uniform. As well, tougher restrictions on who can join the police would help.

I second that my friend. There's NO excuse for this kind of treatment of ANY human being. I would have done the same thing myself, except I wouldn't have waited two days before filing a complaint about it.

This is one incident that suddenly people became aware of. That makes any reasonable person wonder how many more *incidents* have occurred that no one knew about where the police were successful in intimidating the person into not pursuing it any further.

wow.. I'm surprised. although something similar has happened to me in the past. cops should not have that kind of authority over simple people. He didn't look like a gang member and he didn't do anything for them to attack him. the cops made it worse by laughing. very unprofessional and criminal.
